Dr. Monica Kathleen Martin, MD

Dr. Marin may be one of the worst doctors I have even seen. I have now given her 2 chances and I will not go back again. Kept telling me that I didn't have what my gyno wanted to diagnose. After much convincing she ordered the tests that confirmed I actually did have it. Went back reluctantly a year later and completely regret it. She didn't care that I was asking for referral for a dermatologist, basically told me that my family history didn't matter and to switch my insurance to a PPO. Also didn't care to hear about mental health issues I was dealing with even after I stated this to her and the super kind nurse that brought me into the room.

If you care about your physical health, DO NOT choose her. If you care about your emotional health, DO NOT choose her; she will treat you as though all hope is lost. How is it possible that she has been practicing since 1991? Listen up people-- SPEAK UP AND SPEAK OUT against physicians like this!

Horrible Doctor and practice. If I would not have taken things into my own hands, my husband would be dead! We were in ER, doctor on call in the practice would not agree to have husband admitted. Had to see specialist the next day. We did. That Doctor sent us immediately to the ER, saying husband should have been admitted the first time. The second time martin'a practice STILL would not admit him. I refused to take husband home. I finally got the house Doctor to admit. Next morning husband had surgery. Soon after he began sepsis. Thank God for Erin, nurse on loan from Northwestern. Her quick thinking and action when I told her my husband had a fever, was shaking/convulsing, and was delirious put her into action and saved his life. It was a harrowing 10 hours before we saw him turn the corner. Two days later we received letters that he and I were being dismissed from the practice.

Very rude, horrible bedside mannor. Anytime a question is asked she response to me as if I'm a child and is extreamly condesending.

I love Dr Martin - I don't like the time it takes for me to get an appointment. This office has changed over the last year. Sometimes I wait too long sitting in the room.

I have always been please with Dr. Martin's work and professionalism

Dr. Martin is a great doctor. She listens and has a sense of humor! She does sometimes have a long wait time - but that is because she is so good!

As a muture woman over 60 this is the worst annual exam of my life. Not only what she did but what she didn't do Would not recommend or return ever!

too lax in attempting to diagnose problems. didn't send for tests untilshe realized i had had it (after several repeat visits). oops, yeahthere was something wrong. fine for colds and female exams.

An MRI result stayed in my file for over three months before anyone noticed it and called me to come in. My last appointment was a hit-and-run, with me being told my symptoms were most likely due to being overweight even though I have a chronic health condition. There was no follow-up, even though this is one of their patient 'values'. And today I received a poorly typed, incomplete, and unprofessional collection letter demanding a $20 payment for something - no explanation, just a threat to send my account to their lawyers. Another appointment I had with Vetrone was horrible - I had been sick for four days and when I explained how I was feeling I received a rude glance and the rhetorical question "Four days?" Again, I have a chronic health condition that has been ongoing for 12 years and this wasn't even addressed. Fast food model applied to a medical practice.
