I am so grateful to Dr. Patadia and her staff. I haven’t been able to breathe properly for years and when I saw Dr. Patadia she was able to give me a proper diagnosis. I required surgery to help me breathe normally again and she went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with everything and I knew exactly what to expect. I couldn’t have asked for a better result and I’m so impressed by her and how much care she puts into her job.

For more than two decades I suffered from AERD (nasal polyps, aspirin sensitivity & asthma) and have seen many ENT's who simply prescribe antibiotics and oral steroids to treat my symptoms. Two of these ENT's diagnosed me with AERD/Sampters but unfortunately did not know how to treat me. I came across Dr. Patadia's name on the Sampters.org website and fortunately I was able to get an appointment with her. The nasal rinse she prescribed is much safer than the bursts of antibiotics and oral steroids that I had to take previously and that would usually last 2 to 3 months before the polyps returned. And, now I don't need surgery! I'm polyp free, can taste and smell again! Thank you Dr Patadia and your amazing nurse Lisa.

Dr. Patadia and her staff were very sweet and understanding of my concerns regarding how well I could breathe from my nose and the look of it. Dr. Patadia was able to develop a plan to improve my breathing through an open rhinoplasty and did a thorough job explaining the process. She also ensured to not compromise any aspect of my final results from the procedure so that I could not only have a nose that I felt comfortable with but a nose that I could breathe out of. I truly felt like my wants were achieved and my concerns were taken care of. I would recommend Dr. Patadia to anyone considering a change in their quality of life.

A few things stand out when I think, "What defines a good doctor?" Dr. Patadia and her staff consistently defined the answer in my recent experience with allergies and a severely deviated septum. There's a simple expectation that a doctor is going to properly diagnose and address the symptoms of a health issue, but in my experience, it's only hopeful that the cause of those symptoms is mitigated. Dr. Patadia successfully (and efficiently) helped me through my discomfort with a personalized touch. From the initial data-collection (great listening), allergy testing and review, CT scan and review, and ultimately the surgery process, I learned about what was causing my discomfort and pain - and she addressed everything. She listened to my scattered thoughts about what could cause it. She paid attention to my family medical history and ran extra tests to ensure I wasn't going to be in special risks for surgery or post-op complications. She offered options, but gave me a clear and… professionally sound and supported solution to assist me in my decision to have surgery. Most importantly: Dr. Patadia and her staff were friendly, remembered me, talked to me as a person (and remembered more things about me than what they likely scribble in my chart for a generic bedside manner), and always made me feel comfortable. In the surgical process, I couldn't have felt more "at home". The months prior to surgery Dr. Patadia earned my trust. I healed quickly (I made sure to follow doctor's orders whenever they were given) and 6 months post-op - and during my worst allergy time of year - I'm breathing comfortably, enjoying nice weather despite the allergens, and have been able to sleep with a result of much more rest. I offer my highest recommendation. Kudos, and my most indebted thanks to Dr. Patadia, Lisa (her Burr Ridge lead nurse), and the rest of her friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy staff.
