Dr. Monica Peng, MD

I am submitting this complaint regarding my experience renting a home from Monica Peng, MD. My wife, our two young children (ages 2 and 4), and I rented her home in Krugerville, TX from February 2025 through June 2026. In June 2025, we reported visible mold in the kitchen closet and master bathroom after a roof leak. The roof was repaired, but the mold itself was never remediated despite our repeated requests. When we moved out a year later, the mold was still present. I later returned with permission and observed that it remained, with one area appearing to have been painted over. As a parent, I find it deeply concerning that my family, including two young children, lived with known mold for approximately a year. This experience is especially troubling to me given that Dr. Peng is a pediatrician dedicated to children's health.
