Dr. Monica Milstein Perlman, MD

Dr. P and staff are disorganized-one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Led to a serious misdiagnosis. Stupidly gave her a 2nd chance which led to more disorganization and very poor follow through. Only gave 2 starts because there is another doctor there who seems good.

My GP Dr's office (practice) was bought (?) by Dr. Perlman. The experience was a NIGHTMARE. This is predatory medicine. These people are awful. I had to pick one star but it is really a minus 5 stars (-5) Tijuana must even be better. I am forced to look for a new Dr after 25 years. A "sold out" patient RB in Encinitas

I love all these 5 star revues, further proof 80-90 % of all revues are FAKE & left by friends, family or the proprietor themself - What a JOKE ! They should rename this clinic 'Barnum & Bailey Clinic' - Talk about a total circus, my God ! Arguably the worst experience of my life & I was once held hostage at gunpoint ! If you hate your money & free time I would strongly recommend this clinic - If you like to be called a liar by an incompetent employee & like to be lied to incessantly then look no further you have found your dream Dr's office ! If you like your records being lost, continually called the wrong name & then have them try and prescribe medications & treatments that coincide with another patient then you've hit the jack pot ! Reminds me of the guy who has to have to have his left arm amputated & they accidentally remove the right arm & then they say oopsy daisy, our bad, can you come back in for another appointment, we promise we won't mess up this time - JOKE… ! If you like to have an office constantly make a series of mistakes & rather own it call you and say we need you to come back because we are unable to keep our records in order, again DREAM OFFICE ! If you like to have employees get on the phone with you while their distracted on facebook talking to you in incomplete sentences, worse grammar & use street talk that they are unable to do their jobs correctly - Bottom line is in todays busy world people DO NOT have time to get run all over town due to an overwhelmingly incompetent staff , then get jerked around on the phone for hours - Zero call backs & will make you call repeatedly to correct THIER mistakes & then get mad at you because they can't do their job If you are ever feeling like your life is missing lying, run around, deceit, incompetence, professionalism, proper etiqutte & you just want to be talked to by someone who got all C's & D's in highschool who is unable to do their job then you've hit pay dirt with this bumbling band of clowns. A real shame there are patients in REAL need of medical care & these guys run their office like a 2 dollar car wash, SAD !

My first appointment was an unusual appointment. I was told by the not too friendly receptionist that the first visit was not really a medical check up visit and i had to make another appointment to discuss medical issues. She said this is just for the doctor to get to know you. I was taken to a room waiting to be seen by Dr. Perlman (that i had requested when i booked the appointment) to find out she sent her very young physician assistant to meet and greet with me. The PA was nice, but I found out it is very hard to see the doctor, ever. I noticed there were a lot of advertisement for beauty products in her office lobbies, which confirmed my suspicion of this is just a money making establishment for the doctor who is the owner of the clinic. I was directed to make another appointment to discuss medical issues, which I decided against. God knows how much they will bill me for seeing a physician's assistant for the meet and greet. I need a doctor not a business for making… money for the doctor. Very bad experience!

Monica Perlman and her staff were very nice. They spent a good time with me, about 30 minutes, which is hard to find these days with primary care providers. I'll definitely go back again.

The intent seems to be to balance care and cost - the office is busy (hopefully efficient) - use PA's to get decisions made by lowest qualified person - provide access to preventative care systems - time will tell if cost increases perform better than averages

You hardly ever see her. Her Physician Assistants do all the work. Does she really exist??
