Dr. Monica Win Thint, MD

We saw Dr Thint here in Tx for 8 years and we were sad to see her move. She listens and it’s like your the only one in the office. She diagnosed and elusive issue with my daughter and I feel like she raised my babies with me! We miss her greatly!

Doctor Thint has was our family pediatrician in Texas for over 10 years. It was a very sad day when our four kiddos found out that we were losing her to Florida. You have definitely gained an excellent pedestrian. Finding a replacement has been tough!

We just moved to the area and saw Dr. Thint for the first time. I have never written a review before but I am so impressed with Dr. Thint that I find it necessary to recommend her. She was extremely thorough and thoughtful. She really went the extra mile to make sure everything was covered and explained. She was very patient with my 15 month daughter and really slowed down to her pace to make sure she was comfortable. She went over in depth everything that was taking place during the appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had. The office was clean, staff was friendly, and the wait time was under 10 minutes. It was such a refreshing and great experience overall.

Saw Dr. Thint 3 times and waited an hour each time before she saw my chidl! NO twelve month old should be expected to wait that long!!! Front office staff is not helpful at all! Never helped me schedule another appointment and was not ever able to answer my questions. POOR service!!

I am impressed. She was a great doctor, very thorough, made us feel at home as we have just moved. She went the extra length to go over things that most doctors wouldn't do i.e. refer us to a dentist in the area, make recommendations about preschools, etc. She is excellent and I was impressed at the amount of time she took with us to go over her health and history. I really trust her expertise, she checked again to be sure my daughter's uti was gone. She was great with my daughter as well-patient and fun. The reviews I saw that made me take my 3 year old to her were correct! The nurse on the other hand I felt sorry for because my 3 year old gets wild at the doctor. :) And I was tired afterwards as well-ah such is life.

I am really, extremely surprised at the other 2 reviews. My 4yr old daughter has seen Dr. Thint since she was a preemie and we have never once had a single problem with her or her staff. In fact, we LOVE her, we reccommend her and we still wont switch after moving over 30mins away from her. She is the most caring pediatrican, forget pediatrician, the most caring DOCTOR I have ever met. I dont even get that kind of service with MY doctor.Just because she doesnt have the same religious views as you, doesnt mean shes a bad doctor. And I find it VERY hard to believe she would say something like that to a child. She has never once mentioned to me anything about that shot, she has never said anything about a breast cancer committee and she has never told my daughter anything other than what I said. She held me and told me I was a great mom when my child was sent to the e.r. at age 1 with phneumonia in both lungs. She called and checked up on us daily and still today, 3 yrs later, she is… checking on her lungs and breathing.She always spends a good amount of time in the room talking to us and she feels like a friend. Yes, her wait time is pretty long. But you know what, you cant want a doctor to have alot of happy customers, spend some good time with your kid AND have a super short wait time. How does that make sense? She has a long wait time because she spends time in each room!

Do your child a favor, find a NEW pediatrician!!!!! Long long long waits! And subpar service.
