Dr. Monika Ayyar, DO

Cared for me for about 3 months

Listens and is very personable.

She spent time asking questions and understanding the needs of patient.

Three appointments with Dr Ayyar, all three times, at different times during the day, was kept waiting at least 1 hour. Actual time with Dr, Ayyar never exceeded 10 minutes. Dr, Ayyar does not have her own office and no staff. She is working out of the Scurlock Tower and some other Doctor's office. No nurse, no assistants, nothing but her. Will have to find another Doctor. Do not recommend.

Best of all... she listens.

She does not listen to the patient or the family.

She never seems attentive, always unconfident in her diagnosis, and tries to run to the next patient ASAP.

Dr Shah always spends an adequate amount of time with us, she listens intently and answers all of our questions, we never feel intimidated by her, we feel we can tell her our issues. The problems we have experienced have been with the facility and other staff, not Dr Shah.

And by the time our turn came around, she didn't even listen.

It was social hour when this doctor came around. She was always gabbing with the staff. She seems very incompetent. She saw my family member for all of two seconds. How do you know what is happening with the patient so fast?
