Dr. Monika M Cohen, MD

I love Dr. Cohen, she is compassionate, understanding, and listens. I only wish when I need to speak to her, I didn't have to go through the process of first calling and trying to explain to the receptionist what the problem is, they are not trained medical staff and can be difficult. After that, one is lucky if they get a call back the same day, Nurse is not always clear and if I have further questions, she has to go ask Dr. Cohen again. Her old nurse Mary, was the best, very efficient, understanding and reliable. I needed a medication approved by my insurance, pharmacy faxed it 3 times, took a couple months, I got a lame answer from the present nurse that the fax machine was broken. then was told my insurance would not approve it. If it weren't for Dr. Cohen, I would not be happy or stay with the practice. Other practices are fortunate that they can email the doctors who understands the situation and the doctor responds. I would rate a 4 star, except for the staff and nurse.

She is the perfect doctor. Patient, spends time with you, and listens to what you are saying and diagnosis accordingly. I would recommend her without a question except that I dont't think she takes new patients, even husbands of existing patients!

Have known this outstanding physician since she was in high school and she worked part time and one summer in my office (allergy practice). She was a brilliant student and an excellent asset to our office. I have referred patients to her, and have had exemplary feedback.

Dr. Cohen is warm, personable and caring.She takes time to listen, is excellent at diagnosing a problem or illness and makesnotes for follow up. She has helpful information and recommendations forpatients. I've been seeing her for yearsand feel when I go in for an appointment,I will be getting the best of care. Ihighly recommend her to others.

Although my work and travel schedule makes me difficult to reach at times, Dr. Cohen followed up with me to address a complex condition and to ensure I was en route to recovery. I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen's for 13 years, and have relied on her in-person advice as well as electronic support when I have been out of the country. She is a clear communicator and a thorough diagnostician. I am thankful to have been under her care for these years.

She is excellent! She is professional, makes you feel comfortable and at ease when you speak with her. You never fel rushed. She is bright, thorough, respectful and very competent and compassonate. She explains everything to you. Staff are friendly. Dr. Cohen to be an oustanding physician and would rate her a 12 on a scale of 1-10.

I waited in the waiting room for less than 10 minutes. The nurse came in and took my blood pressure, pulse, and reviewed my chart with me. Then, I waited over one hour...in the examination room...for the doctor to arrive. She was very apologetic. I have been with Dr. Cohen for over 25 years because of her vast knowledge and ability to stay current. She is a dedicated professional.

I have been with Monika Cohen as my primary physician for 8 years now. I feel so comfortable with her and her bed side manner, and and her all encompassing attention to detail and overall concern for my physical health and general well being.

I love Dr. Cohen as my physician for the past 5 years. Knowledgeable and caring!! As for the practice, the other physicians keep changing. My husband is on his 3rd Dr. in that practice. Staff had never told him his Dr, had left the practice. He called for appt. and they said, "Oh, we have a new Doctor for you, as your previous Dr. left the practice" This happened two more times in a year while my husband was on medications that needed to be monitored. Very unprofessional. My husband no longer goes to the practice.
