Always a positive visit. Dr. Gupta never makes you feel rushed and is truly interested in your concerns, Claudia at the front desk is great.

Very unprofessional staff. I have been going there for 8 years and I think they have taken my blood pressure twice. Does not address patient concerns, the only thing that she has ever helped me with is to make sure I get my blood tests every six months. Went in with a bad case of bronchitis and was told it was allergies. Spends more time with pharmaceutical reps than with patients. She sent me for ultrasound for stomach pains and never informed me I had two tumors on my glands. Found out two years later from my gyno that it was detected in the original ultrasound. Good old fashioned quack. Finding a new doctor ASAP.

First time meeting Dr. Monika Gupta, she was really friendly and nice, very upbeat and concerned about my well being , definitely will be making another visit

She did not treat me when I was sick with high temperature and sore throat. I was in dire need of antibiotics. Without even doing an initial checkup she asked me to do blood work and return with the results. I could barely stand on my feet because of high fever and the sore throat needed immediate medical attention- an antibiotic. It was poor service. Thank god I went to medical aid the next day early in the morning. Got better attention and medication straight away. I was healthy within a week. My disappointment was of not getting care from her when I needed most.

This doctor has a schedule which fits her needs. I adopted her as a doctor when Dr. Patel retired. I never had any problems until I finally had a reason to see her. Severe vertigo, nausea and severe sleep deprivation- she shows up to the office 75 minutes late. When she did see me she asked me why did I come to see her. why not the ER or walk in clinic. I was humiliated. There have been three other incidents with her with shared similarities. I have insurance and I do not know why she wouldn't even discuss my symptoms. I suffer from a severe disability which she is privy to. I have discussed her behavior

I have been a patient w/ Dr Gupta for almost three years. She always is kind and sweet. She isn't fake and is truly concerned for how your doing. She has a very busy office w/ lots of patients, but I never have to wait long. Thats because her and her front desk person (Claudia) have it all under control. They are quick and professional. Dr. Gupta is not just aware of my time, she is also aware of my financial needs as well. She will ask about your medication and if the insurance covered all of it. And if there is a problem w/ anything, she knows how to fix it. I'm very happy that I found her. My old doctor was awful and I can't believe I waited for years to change. So if your looking for a new doctor in Newark, Dr Gupta is a great choice.

Very great demeanor and attitude. Make everyone feel comfortable. Even had my father switch to her.
