Dr. Monika Grant Kiripolsky, MD

Do NOT go to Dr. Monika Kiripolsky, a BEYOND INCOMPETENT & NEGLIGENT doctor, if you are looking to get filler in your face. She will RUIN your face while charging the most expensive rates in Los Angeles for facial injections. Due to the fact this doctor damaged my tear trough through her incompetence, I was told specifically by her staff that the doctor would indeed speak to me yesterday about reimbursement for the damaged eye area knowing I was more than dissatisfied & knowing I was planning to write a review to warn others about her. As I was went through the facts with the doctor on the phone & explained why I did not want her to touch my face again & “fix it” with dissolver because dissolver can ruin that part of the face, or inject it with more filler because I did not trust her abilities in injecting the face, the doctor states “Oh that’s right, I forgot you went to medical school” in the most condescending & sarcastic manner toward me. When I explained that she was totally… unprofessional, and stated that she was only after money due to how she treated my situation as well as my friend’s situation (who she charged full fee for a service she could not provide for my friend), she hung up the phone on me. I was simply stating facts/called her out as unprofessional for mocking me when I explained why I did not want dissolver in my face to FIX THE MESS SHE CREATED. She was clearly never planning to reimburse me & only wanted to bully me on the phone. Here is the rest of the story- I originally went to Dr. Kiripolsky to get my tear troughs filled because I was due for filler in that area & had read the reviews on her, assumed they were real reviews & trusted them. She put a full syringe of filler under 1 eye. I made the mistake of asking her if there were any other areas in my face that needed additional filling. Despite the fact she knew I already had filler in several parts of my face unrelated to the tear troughs, she literally put a full syringe of filler in both of my cheeks (meaning 2 full syringes total), and 2 full syringes in my temples and 2 full syringes in my chin.. and I walked out of her office having paid $5500. She never said how much it was going to cost & never gave me a receipt. My mistake not asking her what this amount of filler would cost me, as I am no stranger to filler & I never would have paid this amount or asked for this amount of filler in my face had I known her outrageous prices or plan on filling my face up to this level. Furthermore, I literally looked the exact same way two weeks later when the filler was supposed to have settled in the face. For the insane $5500 worth of filler she allegedly put in my face, I should have looked totally different. Thank God I did not, because with that amount of filler plus the other filler previously in there, I should have looked like a freak. What did I pay for & where did the filler go?! This filler had to be watered down or I would have had the “moon face”. Then the one area that I actually went to her to get filler for (the tear trough), looked worse afterwards. I let her know within two weeks of it settling that there was now a fat pad in the tear trough that was not there before & was due to her filler technique… and that the eye horribly indented (versus looked filled) due to where she placed the filler- it looked worse than before I went there (which would further reinforce the fact she must dilute the filler & yet still charges a fortune, like a true scam artist). At the 2 week follow up, said she would fix the trough with more filler. I then said that I'd presumed there would be no charge since she would be fixing the damage she caused, and she had the audacity to say she would indeed charge for it! When I said I was totally dissatisfied with what she did & she made things worse not better, & that it seemed totally unfair to ask for more money to do what she should have done correctly the first time, she said she would make an exception & fix it for free, as if she was doing me a big favor. She also pulled up the before & after pictures of my face to pride herself on the injections she put in my face. You should know that SHE DOES NOT TAKE LIKE FOR LIKE PICS WHEN YOU LOOK AT HER WEBSITE PICS. She has COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LIGHTING FOR THE BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS SO YOUR FACE WILL AUTOMATICALLY LOOK BETTER IN THE PICS TAKEN AFTER THE INJECTION WHEN YOU COME IN FOR YOUR 2 WEEK FOLLOW UP. MORE EVIDENCE OF HER BEING A LIAR. That day of the 2 week follow up I left the office without letting her inject my tear trough with more filler. I made the wise decision to never return to her again for fixing the situation knowing she could never be trusted & that she would probably further damage my face if I let her inject any more filler in that tear trough. It is crystal clear that Monika Kiripolsky has no concern for the well-being of her patients, and like a true scam artist, only cares about making money off her patients. She has no business doing filler on any of her patients or being in the medical profession at all. Monika clearly violates the “do no harm to patients” oath that she took when she stepped out of medical school and became a doctor. She has violated this oath on every level- physically, emotionally, and financially. BE WARNED- you are taking A TREMENDOUS RISK FOR DAMAGE TO YOUR FACE if you let “doctor” Monika Kiripolsky inject it.

Dr Kiripolsky is the best dermatologist I've ever encountered. She's extremely knowledgable, super sweet, and very talented. She removed a tiny sebacious cyst from my forehead that wouldn't go away despite multiple attempts. It healed well without scarring. I've also used her laser treatments with wonderful non-surgical results. My face looks better than ever! Dr Kiripolsky is also incredible with injections. She performed filler injections on my mom and it took several years off her face. Being a doctor myself, I can say that Dr. Kiripolsky is top notch physician. If you're in LA, there's no one else I would go to.

Dr. Kiripolsky has treated me for years regarding rosacea and older skin problems. Not only does she explain everything beforehand, but takes photos before and after. It is easy to get an appointment promptly. Her prices are in line with other dermatologists in the area.

First and foremost I will like to thank Dr. Kiripolsky for doing such an amazing job on my lip fillers. It was my first time and I was a little nervous, but she mad me feel comfortable. She explained the procedure step by step and was very attentive. I will definitely be coming back for another session with the Best Dermatologist!

I had a bad fall and went to see Dr. Kiripolsky for a gash on my forehead (near my eye) and wounds on my nose and knees. She was extremely clear about my options (stitches vs. steristrips) and care instructions. I was very concerned about permanent scars and she was reassuring and told me that I should heal well. She also told me that if I did end up with scars, she could laser them and make them disappear. I have seen her twice now over 8 days and she has been right about timing. She exceeded my expectations on every level. I recommend her not only if the worst happens to you but also if you want to look your best.

All these fantastic Yelp reviews are not wrong... Dr. Kiripolsky is a miracle worker! She is kind, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and I trust her judgment completely. Four years ago both my son and daughter were struggling with acne for sometime and feeling self-conscious until they met Dr. Kiripolsky. Top notch dermatologist who is - by far - one of the nicest and most approachable doctors I've ever met (and I've met a lot). She not only nailed my diagnosis (when several other doctors had misdiagnosed it), but, she also prescribed a treatment that has made my problem go away completely.
