This was the worst visit I’ve ever had. She was very rude with me. I was prescribed a medication that helped me with my type one diabetes from a diabetic doctor before I had her and she decided that I did not need that medication anymore and that she was gonna cancel The other doctors medical procedures claiming that he was just prescribing things I didn’t need. She was also very rude with me and made me feel uncomfortable throughout the whole visit. She started to yell and scream when I told her that I did not agree with what she was saying to cut me off of my medicine.

I have seen Dr.O recently for my thyroid disease and she has been very honest with me right from the beginning. She explains to you what the disease is and what labs to follow, so you always know exactly what's going on. She takes extra time making sure you understand everything and she gave me good information and brochures about thyroid disease so I don't have to search online.

So before I have seen this doctor I researched online and then I decided to see her. I didn’t have many options cause of my insurance. I had a different experience then some of the other reviewers here. She was very nice pleasant, but very direct to the point. She asked lots of questions about my history, it was long and then she was very honest and told me straight up all the complications, what to expect and what I need to do! The instructions and information that I’ve got from her were very detailed. I really appreciated her truth not like other doctors who only give you partial information and hide behind fake smiles. She is very easy to talk to and I had a good back and forth conversation with her. I believe the negative reviews are from those people that are in denial, don’t want to hear the truth or don’t want to make a real change in their health.

She is rude and condescending. Does not listen.

Dr Olchawa was incredibly rude.In my 27 years as a diabetic I've never felt so horribly treated as I did after seeing her. The first time I saw her she came into the room and immediately said "Why don't we have paperwork or test results for you? How am I supposed to treat you?" I told her, her staff didnt tell me to bring blood test results and she scoffed. I said my doctor was supposed to send them over and she said "what do you want me to do?" The rest of the time i was there she was condescending and rude because my blood sugars are uncontrolled which is why I was seeing her in the first place to get them under control! She made me feel ignorant and like i was inconveniencing her. She asked me questions regarding my dosing and I informed her " I take 1 unit novolog per 10 carbs, and 15 of lantus at night.". Next time I saw her she said "are you still taking 1 unit per 15 carbs and 10 of lantus at night?" I told her that wasn't right, she said "why did you change it?" I said, "I… didnt you. thats what I've been taking for a year now. maybe you wrote it down wrong." she shook her head said "no". she couldnt admit her mistake and told me I was lying to her. How am I supposed to get in better control with someone who is so rude, condescending and cant even write down the proper doses i'm telling her, then tells me I'm lying!? I was truly amazed how horrible I felt after leaving her office. It's a shame, diabetics have to deal with finding a decent doctor to help. I would not recommend her.

This Doctor takes a long time with you in explaining everything , answers all questions, making sure you understand everything before you leave the office ,and have clear written instructions
