Dr. Monika Pogoda

Dr. Monika Pogoda leads Pogoda Dental Studio, a female-led dental practice supported by an experienced all-women team. Together, they provide thoughtful, personalized dental care in a warm and welcoming environment where patients are known, heard, and never treated like numbers. Dr. Pogoda believes exceptional dentistry begins with listening. She takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals, health history, and previous dental experiences before recommending treatment. Appointments are never designed to feel rushed or pressured. Instead, patients receive clear explanations, honest recommendations, and the opportunity to ask questions so they can make informed decisions with confidence. This patient-first approach can be especially helpful for people who experience dental anxiety, have avoided care, or have felt uncomfortable in high-volume dental offices.

Rather …than focusing only on an individual tooth or immediate concern, Dr. Pogoda takes a comprehensive, whole-person approach to dentistry. She considers how oral health, function, comfort, appearance, habits, and long-term needs are connected. Her recommendations are conservative, personalized, and designed to support lasting oral health. Whether a patient needs preventive care, restorative treatment, cosmetic improvements, Invisalign treatment, or help rebuilding confidence after a difficult dental experience, Dr. Pogoda works collaboratively with them to develop a plan that fits their priorities.

Pogoda Dental Studio combines relationship-based care with modern dental technology that helps make appointments more comfortable, visual, and understandable.

The office uses the iTero digital impression system to create detailed 3D images without traditional putty impressions. Intraoral cameras also allow patients to see what Dr. Pogoda sees, making it easier to understand findings and participate in treatment decisions. Technology is never used as a substitute for personal attention. It is used thoughtfully to improve comfort, accuracy, communication, and long-term treatment planning.

Dr. Pogoda earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. She then completed a general dentistry residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, where she expanded her clinical experience and further developed her patient-centered approach.

She remains committed to continuing education and incorporating techniques and technology that meaningfully improve patient comfort, treatment planning, and clinical outcomes.

Dr. Pogoda and her family chose to make Freehold their home, not simply the location of her practice. She is committed to building lasting relationships with local patients and families while contributing to a practice grounded in trust, compassion, and community. Pogoda Dental Studio is conveniently located on Schanck Road, directly across from Freehold Township Town Hall, with an easily accessible location for patients from Freehold, Manalapan, Howell, and surrounding communities.Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pogoda enjoys long walks, painting, piano, Pilates, and spending time with her family and their dachshund, Misia.
