I think Dr. Sternlieb is an excellent dentist. I had a tooth pulled and checked regularly so it had healed before the implant was done. It was painless and I had very little pain after surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Sternlieb.

Whether Dr. Sternlieb is a good surgeon or not, I can not state, as I never got to that experience. His surgery consent guarantees his failure by expressing that he can cause all sorts of injuries during surgery, and it won't be his fault. Also, his staff took a panoramic x-ray, although I had a panoramic x-ray with me, which was less than 2 years old. My insurance pays for panoramic x-rays every 5 years. In addition, I had e-mailed them a 2 D panoramic x-ray which showed the "tori" (that was supposed to me removed surgically) before the appointment. They did not need to take an additional panoramic x-ray. Their costly panoramic x-ray was absolutely needless. I asked Dr. Sternlieb's office to release all dental records to me. His staff stated I can pick up the records, but is not saying if the panoramic x-ray is included. Their office is 50 miles away from me. I asked them several times, in writing, which records they are releasing to me, so my trip won't be a waste. They are not… responding. Bad consent form, excessive charges, unresponsive staff -- based on this experience, I do not recommend Dr. Sternlieb.

I had teeth extracted, a bone graft and an implant with NO SWELLING! Dr. Sternlieb is living proof oral surgery does not have to be painful and recovery can be easy. Thanks, doc!

I had a multi fractured large molar removed. Not once did I feel anything. Not did he leave anything behind to cause problems later. Fast recovery. What a great office.
