Dr. Monte Edward Orahood, MD

Dr Orahood is the worst doctor any patient could ever have. Just because we did not want to put my mother in hospice yet, he stopped helping my mother. My mother was in Memorial Herman Hospital and the cardiologist called his office to ask him for my mother's history and he hung up on the doctor. The doctor at the hospital was soo upset she asked us what kind of doctor he was. My Vet treats my dog better than Dr. Orahood my mother. This man chose the wrong profession he should have never been a medical doctor.

I have been a pt of Dr. Monte Orahood for about 14 yrs. I love him and the care he gives me and my family. His nurse Cherie on the other hand, is making me think I might need to find another physician. I will not deal with her anymore after today period!

He hit on my wife on multiple occasions. She is a nurse that works at a hospital he services from time to time. She had to verbally tell him to stay away as she is happily married. Why choose a doctor that lacks self respect? Based on other reviews....he is likely highly unethical.

I too am surprised by the positive reviews left here. The wait time is ridiculous. The nurse practitioner, Tim, left about 3 years ago. Tim was nice, but didn't seem to know much. The nurse, Christina, is rude. It is difficult to get appointments with the doctor and the wait time is usually over an hour. The parking is a disaster due to the construction of a new office in the front. The new office has been under construction for almost 2 years.

Dr Orahood listens to you as a friend to help with health issues stays on top of concerns. Been with him for several years . His staff is great nurse Christina is wonderful. Can't say must for outside staff-reception person busy with her phone!

Surprised by the positive comments this doctor has received. Getting an appointment is difficult. Doesn't answer questions and spent provide a diagnosis. Staff seems to run the clinic.

Dr Orahood and his PA, Tim are wonderful. Also his nurse. I love being able to call and his nurses answer the phone. Never hesitate to see Tim. Very thorough.

I was an actual patient of Dr.Orahood. And as a patient, I was extremely satisfied with him as my physician. He took time to listen to my medical issues, do necessary testing for proper diagnosing. We tried a few medications before I found one that worked for me. Follow up calls were made to ensure I was tolerating meds well or to see if adjustments were necessary. Unfortunately, I moved to La. and had to stop seeing him. I haven't found another physician like him or that seems as concerned about my health as him. The Dr's I run across in my area, I would call "quack." I would see Dr.Orahood again in a heartbeat!!!
