Dr. Montgomery Zachary

Dr. Zachary is the best pediatrician! She is extremely thoughtful and caring towards my kids. Her bedside manner is amazing and she takes time to answer all our questions. I have seen a lot of doctors over the years and she is by far the most competent and knowledgeable one we've seen! We love her!

I have now specifically asked the clinic for my child to never be scheduled with her, she told me what I could’ve read on a google search. And didn’t further test my child or prescribe medicine.

This provider provides minimal care for her patients. The nurses do the main duties, and she comes in and reviews charts. Then provides inaccurate judgement calls throwing around allegations of child abuse based on cursory glances, unfounded factual evidence, zero physical examination of the extent of any accidental injuries and uses her power as a pediatrician as a tool to collaborate with CPS in order to do so. She falsely attempts to draw connections from isolated incidents with children within the same household to make things appear more serious and extreme than they actually are. She is a new mom and new pediatrician and lacks the experience and knowledge about typical childhood occurrences to professionally handle her position. She has implicit biases towards families with a large number of children as well as those who do not vaccinate. She makes parents feel extremely uncomfortable to bring their children into see her for a sick visit or well child visit if they have any sort… of bruises from a fall or accident as toddlers tend to do often because she will not deem it as abuse at first but if it just so happens another one of your children sustains an injury within a couple of months of the first and that one is more significant but deemed not abuses by TCH hospital Dr. Zachary will still retroactively report abuse for the first child she saw month prior for a sick visit who happen to also have a bruise under their eye but that was not significant to warrant a separate trip to the doctor for but was mentioned at the sick visit when asked about. She will not deem it abuse at the time but later go back and report abuse if a sibling sustains an injury in an attempt to contrive a pattern of abuse that does NOT exist. This has been the most horrible and traumatic experience for our family. I would give zero stars if I could. I highly do not recommend this pediatrician and I am not starting to mistrust Texas Children's because of this person. I understand child abuse is a serious matter that has to be considered carefully but she clearly knew child #1 was okay that day of the sick visit and only reported abuse because child #2 sustained a fracture that was deemed non abuse and accidental by TCH but because it is protocol for CPS to get involved this pediatrician is making the situation appear to be worse than it actually is by now saying child one had a black eye because of an underneath the eye bruise that was superficial and not damaging to her eye or facial structure in any way. Nor was it the reason for the sick visit and nor was it being in any way hidden or ignored in any attempt to cover up abuse. If she truly thought child 1 was being abused, she would have spoken up during or after that appoint NOT months later after child 2 had an accidental injury that was thoroughly checked out and yet again deemed NOT abuse.
