Dr. Monty Scott Mathews, MD

Monty Matthews couldn't or wouldn't help in determining what caused my 18 month old (at the time of visit) daughter's developmental problems. I've continuously mantained that iron overload from poly-vi-sol resulted in iron overload and caused SEVERE neurological impairment. He hostily remarked, "I've never seen those symptoms in a patient from a case of iron overload." Has he EVER seen an 18 month old presented at all with a case of iron overload? I supremely doubt that. Neither he, nor a pediatric neurologist can present any precursors or causes that would underscore my daughter's condition. That's odd however, considering NCBI (the doctor's website for medical data seems to express quite a bit of information regarding this subject. See: Iron homeostasis in peripheral nervous system. Not only is this "Dr." inept, but his demeanor is about as pleasant as a mouthful of rusty razor blades. Upon my submission for my daughter's condition, his demeanor rapidly shifted from glib charm to… hostile and threatening. He should not practice and should be recommended for psychiatric evaluation. Avoid this pretender and seek genuine care.

Very knowledgeable

I went in to get help with neck/arm pain and numbness that's been ongoing for the past year. I told him all the treatments I've tried (Ibprof, ice/heat, massages, etc. ) I saw him for 5 minutes before he told me to take ibuprofen or get a massage then it should just go away on its own. I repeated I've tried those and he said he didn't know what else. Then said Okay. Thanks." and left me in the room by myself... I waited for 5-10minutes before leaving because I didn't know if we were done or not. The front desk also seemed surprised at how fast the appointment was. I left without help, without answers, and paid good money for 5 minutes of his time!
