ZERO RATING.. I DO NOT REFER THIS GUY TO ANYONE!!! Rude, doesn't care about you or your feelings. Answers personal calls while in with us. Alex and front desk never returns calls. Made 55 phone calls from 9am-11:50 am phone Was busy at 11:50 finally the exchange answers and say they went to lunch early, left messages with exchange, no return call. Lie about setting up referral Meaning they don't request them. Called both referral times took 2 weeks for them to finally answer phone and put a referral in. Telling us Polonsky wants us to see a radiation Dr when she already did and had radiation that he referred us too. Talk to insurance company and they confirmed that this man and office never put in or talk to insurance regarding a special test for my mom! Liar,Liar,Liar... I pray one day these people go through what they put us through!

Does not care about patients and charges fraud claims to you instead of insurance. He does not explain results or answer questions.He should just retire already!

I’m sure Dr. Polonski is well qualified, however, depending on his mood, you may get one particular treatment on Friday, and a totally different one on Monday. I was in his office from 3:30-6 because he made a mistake in patient appointment times. Instead of correcting his mistake he made me wait an additional hour and a half. So, basically, the patient with a later appointment, went in before me, and left before I did. He has no respect for anyone’s time but his own. The staff, (especially the receptionist) is excessively slow and unresponsive to requests. I can understand that offices get busy sometimes, but this one is obviously disorganized and careless.

Dr. Polonsky is a friendly person which tries to answer all of your questions. He can sometimes seem a little distracted. If you are not sure about the diagnose given its always a good ideas to get a second opinion.

My brother recently passed away from gastric cancer, he lasted a little more than a year. Linitis Plastica has a grim prognosis, because it is usually diagnosed in the late stages of the disease. I credit his year of survival to the diligent oncology staff from UCLA, who advised us on what treatments to seek and ask for, from Dr. Polonsky. Having the UCLA staff , as a second opinion source, gave us a little more time with my brother.

BESIDE HIS COLD, FROSTY, COCKY DEMEANOR, HE IS VERY SARCASTIC, AND SHOWS ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION FOR HIS PATIENTS WHAT SO EVER. BEING THAT HE IS AN "ONCOLOGIST" ONE AS A PATIENT WOULD EXPECT BETTER TREATMENT. IF YOU ARE BEING "TREATED" BY THIS "DOCTOR" PLEASE SEEK FOR A SECOND OPPINION!!! HE DOES NOT PROVIDE PATIENTS WITH THE PROPER FOLLOW CARE. MY FAMILY MEMBER/PATIENT WAS TREATED FOR STAGE 2 CANCER, WENT TO FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS, AND WAS TOLD HE/SHE WAS "CANCER FREE". A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER THAT BEING SAID, PATIENT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 4 TERMINAL CANCER WHILE BE TREATED AT AN E.R. FACILITY!! IT WAS MENTIONED TO ME BY ANOTHER PHYSICIAN FROM THE HOSPITAL THAT PATIENT SHOULD HAVE HAD A P.E.T. OR CAT SCAN AS A FOLLOW UP.PATIENT EXPIRED SHORTLY AFTER DIAGNOSIS. OOOOPS!!! JUST SOMEONE'S LIFE; RIGHT DOC??!! THANK YOU FOR "CARE" DR. POLONSKY!
