Dr. Moorkath S Unni, MD

My primary sent me to this doctor to discuss a specific GI problem I have. I arrived as a new patient and immediately spent at least 30 minutes being interrogated by an odd, intense lady who kept repeating her questions -- "Are you anxious?" was asked at least 3 times -- along with wanting to know things that had nothing to do with what I was there for, like do I wear hearing aids in one or both ears. I became obviously upset, and the lady then knelt in front of me and held my hands like I was a child. I immediately left because the alternative was to scream and scream very loudly. Never saw the doctor and won't go back.

Worst GI doctor I have ever been to. Won't treat you, won't discuss anything with you. They always says to discuss in detail your symptoms and be specific. I was very specific only to find out that I was wasting my time with this doctor. You will first meet with their neurotic nurse or lady that checks you in. Will just pay his bills in front of you and not speak. Not sure how this guy continues to treat patients. Setup a colonoscopy and found out that he isn't even the doctor that does the procedure. If you want to waste your time and get no treatment and be delayed and get worse go this Dr. Unni. If want to get better and find answers make an appointment with a Hopkins doctor.

Been seeing him for some time and he is very honest and professional. At times hes like all other doctors and looks at you like your lying because the meds he perscribed didnt work, but he will change it. He is the 4th doctor I have seen and seems to be the best so far. Gave him a 3 on accuracy because he cant figure out whats wrong with me yet.

I found Dr. Unni to be very doctor. I liked him very much.
