While I agree that Dr. K is not super outgoing, he is very open and supportive. He listens thoroughly, never shames me, and has a lot of different ideas.

This psychiatrist doesn't get to know you! All he does is increase dose of medications, and he doesn't care if you experience side effects! He never smiles or tries to offer a word of compassion. I think the longest visit I had was 15 minutes, and I had to be the one to suggest different approaches. I wish he could feel for a moment what us patients are feelings, and maybe just maybe he will see us in a different light. Right now all we are to him is numbers and dollars. It is a shame, since he is the only psychiatrist who sees adults in this area. AURORA BEHAVIORAL CENTER, you can do MUCH better to serve this community.

I've been seeing him for almost a year now. I've been previously diagnosed by another doctor with depression, anxiety, and adult ADHD. Managing my symptoms has always been a challenge for me. I was concerned about continuing a medication I had been on for a few years after he pointed out some possible negative long term side effects. He helped by changing me to a much safer prescription and we have a plan to wean me off this medication when I'm ready to do so. I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and I usually show up a bit earlier than my scheduled time. While our meetings remain short, I always feel welcome and never rushed. I feel that my appointments are what I make of them. Thank you Dr. K.

I've been seeing Dr. Moosa Kaleemullah for about 4 months now for anxiety and Adhd, and he's the best Psychiatrist I've ever had. He makes me feel super comfortable, never rushes me, and always completely listens to my concerns about medication, and works with me in the most professional yet kind way. I definitely recommend him! I even travel just to see him. 5 stars!

I agree with another commenter that this Dr. does not see you as a person. He put me on 3 different prescriptions after my first visit from a brain injury. At subsequent visits I would tell him that things weren't improving with the medication and his plan was to increase my dosage every time, to the point where it made me throw up when I had to take meds. He told me to just push thru it. I finally healed enough over almost a year to where I could advocate for myself and weaned off the meds and sure enough, no changes in my symptoms. At one visit I mentioned how one of the medications made me fall asleep at the wheel and I got into a minor car accident and he didn't show any surprise or reaction, he just said "oh that's a good thing." I'm sorry what? He said it was showing that my brain no longer needed as much of the medication. This man doesn't show concern or do anything other than write on a pre-printed list of set questions. I guess if you know exactly what medications you need… you can have a quick 5 minute appointment and get your meds, but for me I am glad to be done with this office.

This is going to be lengthy, but if you're thinking of seeing this man, you should be aware of how he works. I have bipolar disorder and anxiety disorder and when I went in for our first meeting he prescribed me something right away, which caused me slight concern. I assumed that a psychiatrist would want to get to know the patient first and what they want and need for themselves, considering they are changing a lot about the patient's life by what they choose to prescribe. He never made an attempt to get to know me or be empathetic in any sense. I'm on lithium and I've basically felt kind of dead inside. My emotions and motivation are all but gone and my hands shake so much that strangers in public ask if I am okay. I have also gained forty pounds since I have been on it, which is four months. I went in to make him see that I do not want this for my life because I literally feel like I am shell of myself, and I just wanted my identity back. Not to say that my disorders are my… identity, but they are still a part of me that makes me a more focused and determined person. Explaining that to this man did not go well. He put me on a medication to stop my hands from shaking and said that he can give me more meds later on if things are still bad to fix my motivation. This meeting lasted seven minutes. I left his office infuriated and dumbfounded. It's hard to argue with someone so fixated on one kind of solution. He told me that I had to be on a mood stabilizer, but he doesn't know me. I'd been dealing with it after I was diagnosed for almost two years. I just wanted to give medication a try so maybe my life could be a little easier, and it didn't work for me. That is not uncommon, it's what happened to my dad. This man is basically only good if you solely want medication and already know what you want. He does not counsel, he just gives you meds to fix your problems, which doesn't always work for all people. He is a horrendous listener and I feel like I can't have an honest discussion about what I actually need because he will not listen to or try to understand my perspective. He has awful bedside manners and makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Our meetings are a max of fifteen minutes long, that should be known. This is common throughout psychiatry, but he often shortens our meetings. I do not feel respected by him. I would not recommend this man to anyone who wants a compassionate and helpful person. He makes me feel helpless and not in control of my own body. I hate having a person who doesn't know me or even want to know me in charge of my mental, physical, and emotional state. I am a goofy, light hearted person and I do not get mad at other easily. This man absolutely infuriates me. I'm in the process of finding someone else. I hope this helped somebody avoid this mess.

Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. Has no sympathy and only cares about making money. I always felt as though I was a huge bother.
