GREAT EXPERIENCE

An obviously knowledgeable and skilled orthopedic surgeon. Fine bedside manner. Explained my problem --- three bulging disks in my neck --- succintly and clearly. Explained what would be done during the surgery succinctly and clearly also. Was able to accomodate a tight time-schedule on my part, for the surgery. Excellent care at St. Charles Hospital, Port Jefferson, NY where this surgeon, who also has admitting privileges at New York City's prestigious Mt. Sinai Hospital, does most of his operations. The procedure went very smoothly as has my recovery. In fact, with Dr. Chen's permission, I, a 77 year-old multi-sport athlete, was able to do a short duathlon (run-bike-run) race just seven weeks after my procedure. All around, a fine young physician, an excellent surgeon, and a very nice person, too!
