Dr. Morgan Scott Sarrels, MD

Dr. Sarrels was pretty good at diagnosing things, but kind of a scumbag. My husband and I originally liked him as a doctor, but then my poor husband ran into his ego.My husband had a bad, scary reaction to a medicine that Dr. Sarrels prescribed, so he told Dr. Sarrels about the side-effects he was having and asked to try a different treatment method. Instead of switching to another treatment metod, Dr. Sarrels actually got offended that my husband didn't like the medicine and refused to treat my husband unless my husband kept taking that medication. My hubby's reaction to the medication was scary enough that he felt he had no choice but to stop taking it, and therefore no longer be treated.Later when my husbands employer requested a note explaining the diagnosis that Dr. Sarrels had given my husband, Dr. Sarrels refused to give one. It actually seemed like he was trying to "punish" my husband for not taking the medecine he wanted him to take.I was in the office with my husband when… they refused to give the note and I was pretty shocked at how they treated my husband. My husband is such a sweet, polite, patient guy and they were so rude and dismissive to him. What made me even more angry, was that as soon as they realized that I was there and that I was still a patient they started being nice to ME. How shallow and disgusting!
