Dr. Morgan Clifton Wood, MD

Dr. Wood dismissed me from the ER after I made the educated decision to deny being administered contrast dye for a CT scan. He did not give me a choice to proceed with the CT scan without the dye (which is more than possible). He did not speak with me about this decision - he simply told the nurses that if I did not consent to contrast dye, that I could go home. I don't believe it is ethical to refuse a patient this choice, and it is my opinion that the designation of Medical Director should be bestowed on someone with a great deal more compassion.

I was sent to the ER by my Primary doctor for a CT scan. Dr. Wood spent 2 mins in the room told me I did not have cellulitis and that my ear was infected and that’s why my neck was swollen.Dr. Wood refused to give me a CT Scan and was told his is the doctor and I needed to find a new doctor.My doctor sent me to St. Mary’s in Athens, Ga where I have been admitted for cellulitis.

Let my 2 year old bleed for 2 hours because he said he was waiting on a phone call. We saw him sitting at the nurses station laughing and talking with the other staff. Comes in for 5 min glues her head and then sends a bill because he refused to accept her insurance. Will never return to St. Mary's.
