Dentistry runs in Morgan Yost’s blood. His father, Lyle Yost, moved to Delta in the late 70′s and started his own dental practice. For over 30 years, Dr. Lyle Yost provided dental services to the residents of Delta County. Lyle was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and eventually succumbed to it in September 2008.
Morgan Yost is a native of Delta, CO.  He graduated from Delta High School in 1996 then headed off to Brigham Young University for his Bachelors in Science degree. During college, he took two years off to serve a mission for the LDS church in the Philippines.
After graduating from BYU, Morgan moved to Denver to attend University of Colorado School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2006. He wasn’t ready to move to Delta, so he moved his small family to Colorado Springs to work a group practice as an associate dentist. Knowing that he wanted to have his own practice, they decided to pursue other options and Delta came …calling. With his father ill with cancer, things fell into place for Yost Family Dentistry to be born. He took over the small house on south Main Street and was there for about eight months until they could move into their present space at 257 Main Street, Delta, CO.
Morgan is married and has three wonderful children. In his free time he enjoys playing with his kids and trying to get things done around the house. He swings a golf club as time permits but would like to coach his kids’ sports. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Assocation and Western Colorado Dental Society
