I am 6 days out of radical prostatectomy surgery and have to say from the first time Dr. Hansen met me and my wife for a consultation that lasted about an hour and a half right up through the actual procedure, my experience has been very satisfying. He took the time to calm my fears. explain the facts and most importantly interacted with me with sincere empathy and care. He is a skilled surgeon and I would recommend him and Maine Medical Partners for your urology care,

From the moment my wife and I met Dr. Hansen, we knew we were in good hands. After a prostate cancer diagnostic, we chose surgery and never regretted it. Dr. Hansen is a skilled surgeon who did exactly what he told us he would do! Thanks!!

Me and my wife are not happy with Dr. Hanson for several reasons. One He does not spend time enough with his patients. In our opinion He does not spend enough time with his patient. You don't get to meet him only for a minute befor bx than you speak with him for maybe 20 minutes to discuss the results than you never see him again until surgery. He has his nurses and other people do the pre-ops and other testing in in our opinion the surgeon should be there during the pre op visit because a lot of time patients have more questions for him and there assoc. can not answer and they just say you need to ask in the morning of surg. In my opinion how can you trust a surgeon to operate on you that you don't even get to know and trust. So of the things We asked he was untrueth ful with. Me and my wife went down for 3 month check up and it will be our last for he was untrueful with us. As far as we are concerned we are done with Him and his office he will not be getting any more reports… on me from now on I will be finding someone else.
