Dr. Rose and his staff are the best. Dr. Rose is extremely knowable and caring. They go above and beyond to help you and make you feel important. We are lucky to have them as our support system. Dr. Rose is highly recommended.

I brought two children to be evaluated by Dr. Rose. Both times he seemed to be space out and not really listening but when we wrapped up the appointment he had picked up so many nuances and details. Would highly recommend him.

I was a patient of Dr. Rose's for over three years. I was with him at his old independent practice in Lakewood and continued to see him when he moved to Toms River in children's specialized hospital. Thankfully all I needed from him was medication for mild depression and an anxiety disorder. I had an excellent therapist and Rose did call my therapist and release information about me. My therapist (who I did trust) tried to tell me that Rose was concerned about me and that is why he had touched base. Regardless where this man's heart is (I do genuinely believe his intentions are good), he is very unprofessional. He does not understand the nuances of mental health. He merely knows which check boxes mean what disease. Book smart, but not savvy. He over medicates. My therapist felt I did not need any medication. While I disagreed with no medication, Rose put me on the highest dosage of medication. He was always late for appointments. I waited on average an hour past our appointment time to… see him. He always seemed disorganized and overwhelmed whenever I saw him. I told him I was the same he would give me a new script. That is all. Our appointments were never over 10 minutes long. I once told him I felt I wouldn't need medication in the future and he told me I should accept that some people need to be medicated their entire lives. Again, he had me on a maximum dosage when I really should have been on the minimum. TLDR; Unprofessional, overwhelmed, disorganized, always late, does not understand the complexities or nuances of mental health.

Awful doctor. I can't believe that anyone would allow their child to be treated by this idiot.

terrible doctor. treated me for bipolar disorder. I became depressed and he kept giving me the same medication that was making me depressed. I became suicidal and needed to go to a new doctor. Moshe called the new doctor before I saw him and told him that I was noncompliant with medications. I could no longer see the new doctor as he was lied to by Rose and already had a bad feeling for me. I would never take my child to him. Very bad psychiatrist.

Moshe Rose saw me several times and started me on Cymbalta for bipolar disorder. The Cymbalta made me very depressed and suicidal. When I told him this he actually increased the dose of the Cymbalta. Once I realized that I needed better help I scheduled an appointment with another psychiatrist. When I went to this doctor he told me that Rose called him and gave him very personal information violating my HIPPA rights. I could no longer be treated by this doctor because of this. Rose is not a good psychiatrist at all.
