Dr. Moshim Kukar

I’m extremely grateful to Dr. Kukar for his surgical expertise and his factual, empathetic consultation. My circumstances were sudden, shocking, and frightening but I am blessed to have survived and continue to feel well. I also want to extend my deep appreciation for Nurse practitioner Maureen Brady, who has been excellent in providing me with the information I need, and her willingness to patiently listen to and answer any questions or concerns I might have.

Dr Kukar listens to you. After he explains what could happen he asks you what you want. He includes you in all decisions being had. He works with you until you are comfortable with the procedure. He takes all the time you need.

good visit

Dr. Kukar performed my gastric surgery 2 weeks ago. When a tumor was found in my stomach, doctors in Rochester had wanted to do a more radical procedure (full gastrectomy) that would have impacted my quality of life greatly. Luckily Dr. Kukar gave me another option, and removed a minimal amount of stomach, along with the tumor (which turned out to be benign). The surgery went well, and I was able to recover at home after only 2 nights in the hospital. Dr. Kukar and his team were always available for questions, listened to my concerns, allowed me to have input into my treatment plans, and connected me with a dietician, GI docs, and lots of information resources. I would highly recommend Dr. Kukar and Roswell Park to anyone with GI issues requiring surgery.

AT my first meeting with him i had my adult children with me, i was impressed by his willingness to speak with my Kids as well as me.. he spoke of all things possible, addressed all concerns placed everyone at ease.. Again i say Thank You for all you did..
