He has a great bedside manner. He is never in too big of a hurry. Spends adequate time with his diagnosis.

First, Angela Smith is amazing. I hate to write this because I absolutely love Dr. Zufari. I’m sitting here in the office for an appt created 3 months ago (the time they chose after my last appt). Two days ago, I confirmed this appt via text and received a confirmation. Pretty basic stuff. I show up and the receptionist claims they gave away my appointment since I also didn’t confirm over the phone. Unfortunately this doesn’t surprise me. I’ve had problems with their front office before. I previously set up an appointment for my son but immediately called back to cancel since I forgot we would be on vacation that day. We return from our vacation and I received a letter stating they would never see my son as a patient since he missed the appointment (which I canceled). There’s zero accountability. It feels a bit like the DMV with a sprinkle of post offices employees on Christmas Eve. And always a host of new policies. But I’m already here. To still be seen, the receptionist hands me… a filthy iPad to ‘check myself in’. I essentially had to type in all of my personal and health insurance information (emphasis on health insurance and not health history), which they already have on file and hasn’t changed. I’ve been waiting for 35 minutes in a crowded waiting room when a nurse yells my name from the front office and asks if I already provided her a urine sample. I was mortified! I’ve never seen this woman in my life. And while this may not bother everyone, I’m a Realtor. Image is important when you’re in sales and it certainly compromises the integrity of my image when I’m publicly being drug tested like a criminal. I walk up to the front desk to whisper to this woman, Katt, that it’s not an ideal time for urinating in a cup (women’s issues). She shrugs and proceeds to tell me that she needs me to do so if I intend to receive the same prescription I’ve had since I was 13. I turn to the receptionist (can’t remember her name but she’s of middle eastern descent) and I ask if I do it this once, will I be asked again? She states that it’s a continuous requirement to confirm that I’m taking my medication. They couldn’t tell me what my cost would be with my insurance and I refuse. The two women give each other a smirk. As though, I’m obviously not urinating in a cup since I’m a drug dealer and they figured me out! There are just so many issues and nothing is adding up. So I immediately look up the reviews online. I’m still wondering if this was a welfare clinic or do they work with probationers? On a side note, this is an obvious ploy to generate money. If a patient wasn’t taking the medication in order to sell it, they could simply take one pill, 3-4 times a year when they see the physician. But any drug could be abused. Why treat every patient like a drug dealer and leave them with an unnecessary $80 drug test? Also, my insurance provider, Cigna, said they pay $2.17 for one of these urinalysis. Katt said their office charges as much as $80. I’m going to keep my next appointment, as it’s already schedule. Hopefully things will change or I’ll look elsewhere. It’s not the entire staff. One of the nurses, Angela has always been professional and compassionate. Dr. Zufari is a wonderful physician who really takes the time to get to know his patients.

I have been a patient for several years and found him to be an excellent primary care physician. He listens to your concerns, researches the possibilities and makes sound recommendations for treatment. He is professional yet treats his patients with a kind, down to earth, easy manner. He has earned my utmost respect and confidence. I hold him in such high regard that I have referred him to other family members.

I have been a patient here for several years. Several years ago, I voiced a complaint to Dr. El Zufari about his staff and the next time I went in the problem had been solved. The waiting area is clean and has a nice smell - not syrupy sweet, or antiseptically yukky. My arrival was acknowledged by a pleasant young lady. I waited less than five minutes when the nurse came and ushered me into the exam room for vitals and questions. The Dr. came in shortly there after. He was familiar with my issues and suggested several options for solutions. I was referred for diagnostic test and to a specialist and was pleased with his choices. It is my opinion that the Doctor is very astute. He works to stay abreast of new methodology and techniques and has a good working relationship with other progressive professionals. His diagnostic record has been right on target in my case. The staff are polite, professional and smiling so you feel very comfortable while you are there. Several times I have… referred friends and family so they could get good medical care also.

This doctor really cares about his patients. the office staff was warm and friendly!! NO office is perfect but this one is close!!

Great Doctor!! He spends time getting to know his patients. Listens to concerns and finds the best possible solution.

Being a new patient and new mother this was by far the worst office visit any one could ask for! When I was taken back, the assistants are laughing and talking in Spanish-NOTE: this is America, speak English (which made me think they were talking about me) my wait time was so long in the waiting room that it was time to nurse my 7 week old. He cries all the time with acid reflux & colic (which is why were there). The Dr. came in seemed in a hurry, completely rushed through his exam and told us just to wait it out. Here my baby cries 24/7 in pain and being told to wait it out is not the answer I was looking for! I would not recommend any concerned or caring parent to this doctors office ever!!! I will be seeking a new Doctor that cares about his patients.

during the long wait I had to nurse my 2 month old. The nurses finally came to get me, and when they saw that I was nursing they began laughing and speaking in Spanish. I felt humiliated. Dr Zafari took very little time with my son, didn't answer my questions, and just looked at me like I was stupid. My son was given his first vaccination. They told me the name, but never went over any side effects, or complications. When my son started running a fever I called the dr office to see if I should be concerned. I had to leave a message, and never received a call back. I'm not sure how this dr has good reviews unless his staff is padding them. I wouldn't take my dog to this office. HORRIBLE!

Great doctor not so great admin staff. Nurses need to improve upon appearance.
