Dr. Moulaye Haidara, MD

Moulaye Haidara, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with extensive expertise in a comprehensive range of services, including premium lens cataract surgery, laser-assisted advanced cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma interventions, refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK/ICL), oculoplastic procedures (blepharoplasty for droopy eyelids, entropion and ectropion repairs, and Botox), and medical retina treatments. Dr. Haidara graduated summa cum laude from Howard University with a degree in Biology and earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he received advanced training in the latest surgical techniques across various subspecialties. Dr. Haidara previously served patients at Kleiman Evangelista Eye Centers from 2018 to 2023, where he established a strong reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding collaboration. Following this, he held leadership positions in high-volume surgical centers internationally, further broadening his expertise and impact. His commitment to restoring vision was ignited early in his life by witnessing the profound effects of avoidable blindness in West Africa, an experience that continues to inspire his work both locally and globally.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Haidara enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, playing soccer, traveling, and actively volunteering in the community.
