Dr. Mounir Fertikh, MD

This so called physican is bias, judgemental, rude, & clearly didn't take his oath seriously. Maybe he is good to select patients but the interactions my mom has had with him have all been terrible minus the one where my dad was present. He will refuse to treat you & belittle you if he finds out you are a smoker. My mom, a lung cancer survivor & person with COPD went to him for f/u regarding her worsening symptoms since completing chemo. The moment he found out she has not been able to quit smoking his whole demeanor changed. He then spent 20 plus minutes telling her all the ways he can not help her & that all her issues are from smoking. He stated "there's nothing more I can do for you." Went as far to offer her help in finding another doctor (yea, no thanks) She went to her pulmonologist looking for help to manage her symptoms & he refused making her feel terrible. My mom is still a person who deserves great & supportive care from a physican who is truly vested in her well being.

It was obvious from my first meeting with Dr. Fertikh that he wanted to listen to me and make a meaningful connection to positively benefit my diagnosis. Purely professional with a sense of humor.
