Dr. Moutaa Benmaamer, MD

Dr. Benmaamer operated on my wife 10 years ago. This was the best experience possible. This is why I picked him for my surgery. It was equally a good experience. No problems, super nice Dr.

He is very caring, & honest. I was self pay,& I paid my fee of $78.00 up front. After my appt., as I was leaving the office, the receptionist told me the Dr. was not going to charge me, & gave me my money back. I was so glad because I needed that for food,& gas. I am forever thankful for his caring heart. I have NEVER seen a Dr. do that. Love him.

colorectal surgery= was totally unprepared for pain and agony after hosp procedure, Dr and nurse did not care to give guide on what to expect post operation, when i desperately needed advice on how to get my 'system' working again. When i called post-op Dr was on a three week vacation, no associate or concerned staff for relief. Not a warm feeling in dealing with Dr Benmaamer from the get-go. Of course i wonder if my complications were exacerbated by means, methods of the operation??

Today was my first meeting with Dr. Benmaamer. I found him to be extremely competent,caring,and knowledgeable. I was transferred to him after my previous vascular surgeon moved from the area. Dr. Benmaamer knew all the particulars of my case and explained what the next steps in care would be, both in terms of prevention and treatment. He also listed the three main symptoms or danger signs I should be aware of in the event that my condition changes. Aside from his gracious and charming manner, Dr. Benmaamer's professionalism put me entirely at ease and convinced me I was in excellent hands.

Dr. Benmaamer was very cocky with us. He did not specialize in area that my husand needed, but claimed he could take care of it and didn't want us to get transferred to another hospital that specialized in the condition. Meanwhile, my husbands condition had worsened.
