I saw Dr. Rai the first time and it was worried to be honest because you never know who will you get she was amazing so thorough caring indeed a lot for me

Dr. Rai noticed that I had mitral valve prolapse and mild regurgitation 7 years ago. She wisely suggested we monitor since it was mild. In 2024 the mitral valve regurgitation progressed and became severe. Dr. Rai was the ONLY cardiologist to take the time, run thorough tests and corolate those tests with my symptoms, and then advocate for me to get the life saving surgery I needed. Simply put, without Dr. Rai, my heart would have been permenantly damaged by the severe mitral valve regurgitation and my life would have been shortened. Though other cardiologists didn't think it was that serious, Dr. Rai did and she advocated for me! Turns out, Dr. Rai was 100% right! I went to the Cleveland Clinic and the chair of cardiothoracic surgery there performed tests and he confirmed everything Dr. Rai said... The Mitral valve regurgitation was severe and would have damaged my heart without surgical repair. Dr. Rai saved my life, and in the process she was attentive, considerate, kind,… reassuring and the best physician I could have prayed for. Dr. Rai is amazing as a human being and a Cardiologist!

I was very pleasantly surprised at a minimum waiting time. Dr. Rai, including her assistants, were very nice and professional. I was in and out within an hour or less. That just doesn't happen, let alone at a heart hospital, so great job!
