Dr. Mridula Vinjamuri, MD

After almost a year of multiple GI doctors not being able to figure out what was causing so much pain and telling me it must be IBS, I was referred to Dr. Vinjamuri for my iron deficiency anemia. She spent time looking at all my records and noticed there wasn’t imaging of my small bowel. She ordered that and found the mass that had been growing on my small intestine! She immediately referred me to a surgeon and vigorously advocated for me to be seen asap. Now 3 months after surgery where they removed that tumor as well as other masses and lymphnodes that were affected, I have my active life back! I feel like my old self with plenty of energy and haven’t had that old pain even once since the surgery. She really cares and wants to figure out why her patients are having symptoms and fix the source. I will tell anyone that she likely saved my life as that cancer was already spreading to nearby lymphnodes. Thank you, Dr. Vinjamuri!

I had two different cancers at the same time. She came up with chemotherapy that works for both. I am in remission now. I am lucky to have her for my treatment. She is very intelligent, very kind, spends time with you. Very detailed, speaks excellent English. She is all in one. I wish Carson Tahoe Cancer Center would never let her go. The others can never be her. I wish her all the best. Who ever gets her as a doctor will be the luckiest. You can not find a better Oncologist during your toughest part of your Life. God bless her.
