Colo-rectal cancer was a surprise as there is no cancer history in my family on either side. Dr. Patel was an excellent guide through the journey, taking time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions and he was consistently genuinely concerned for my well-being. Now in remission I am happy to report and would readily recommend Dr. Patel. The few negative reviews about Dr. Patel I read here are in stark contrast with my experience over the past 16 months. One thing I learned in my journey is that EVERY case of cancer is DIFFERENT... each patient's situation is unique. Be positive... be well.

He is compassionate and caring. Wants what is best for the patient. Love his manner!!! Plus he is honest!!

Dr. Patel led me through an extremely difficult time for my wife and I. I know he knew what we were experiencing, but I truly believe he cared. I constantly felt that no stone was left unturned in my treatment. It was a horrible time but Dr. Patel did NOT allow us to loose faith. I'm now cancer free...I was in good hands, thank you.

This was the worse Dr I ever went to. Was in a hurry and didn't answer my questions. When I told my primary care,Dr I,wanted to get a second opinion, he told her if I didn't start treatment I would be dead in a year! That was 6 years ago. I found a very caring Dr and didn't even see art treatment for 4 years. Then with only two drugs versus 6 he wanted to use. I am now in remission and feel so,blessed I got a,second opinion. It's your life, ask as many questions and research.

Dr. Patel was very rude during the appt. He seemed to be disorganized while reading scan results and didn't really tell me what the results were in a way that I could understand. I left feeling confused about what my results were.

When I was diagnosed, my husband was in the process of being deployed. At that time we had a 3 yr old special needs grandson and a 1 yr old daughter. Life wasn't easy by no means. If it hadn't been for Dr Patel treating me with such good care. He explained everything to us drew illustrations, so we would understand. I thank him for being a doctor that wasn't arrogant. He truly made my life easier by treating me like a person. He is an AWESOME doctor.

I took my sister to this Dr. She had asked a lot of questions, he said we will get to that in a moment. He never did. He was reading a pet scan, He had told her with treatment she had about a 1-1/2 years. That was on a Friday. She bleed out two days later. I was never informed that this could happen. Two days later the dr. office called and said her potassium was low and they wanted her to come in. I had told them she died and asked for the dr. to call. I have not heard from the dr. It has been 2-weeks and I doubt if I will ever hear from him. I would not ever go back to this dr.

When I met Dr. Patel he told me that we would be friends for the rest of my life. He continues to be there for me 7 years cancer free!
