Dr. Muhammad Altaf Ahmed, MD

Left waiting in room over an hour while entertaining and laughing with drug reps!!! I am on oxygen and have not been able to see him in over 9 months because he had an extended absence.

My husband had a very bad experience. Do not recommend Dr. Ahmed.

I will not be using him for my pulmonologist ever again! I went in to follow up with him from a PETscan to see if I had cancer or not. All he cared about was blaming me for him not having all of my previous records. I told him I let my primary know that his office needed my records and that it was Dr. Ahmed’s office personnel’s responsibility to see to it that he had the appropriate records. He went on and on with his accusations and being so argumentative that I had to stop him to say that I wasn’t there for that...I was there for the results of my test. Like I said before, I will never go back to him and I will be sure to let everyone I know that needs a pulmonologist to go elsewhere! He is a very humiliating and degrading man.

I was in hospital in 2010 with two blood clots and. One clots move closer to heart and I couldn’t breath they call him and he told me they was going to put a fliter in me . I was in icu for two weeks . Then regular room another two weeks . If wasn’t for Dr Ahmed his fast thinking I won’t be here now. I be been going to him. Since then and he always be good to me. He just doing his job if he get upset with u not doing what he say. I gave him 5 stars.

My experience with Dr. Ahmed is that he is a caring and concerned doctor. He tries to show a happy side of life even when things are not so rosy. He takes the time he needs in order to get an accurate diagnosis. I would recommend him.

very UNCARING ATITUDE, DOES not LISTEN TO YOUR COMPLAINTS. Staff is NO better. Seems he would rather entertain the drug reps over seeing his patients. Would NOT advise anyone to waste your time with him !!!!

The wait time is irrelevant in face of the benefits. He takes as much time as needed with each and every patient. In first exploring my C.O.P.D. Dr. Ahmed was years ahead of my former Dr. My breathing has drastically improved under his care, without which I'm not sure if and where I'd be today. With retirement of our family doctor Dr. Ahmed has graciously agreed to fill that role with myself and my wife. She is also thrilled with the manner, knowledge and treatment of this fine doctor. I wish this country had a million more like him.
