Dr. Muhammad Adnan Alam, MD

Arrogant. Money motivated over needs of patients. Treats you as he's just a rug dealer of psyche meds. Could give a crap about you.

Not a good environment. No counseling, just a dictator with a file that has your name on it. He will not engage with you or even ask you questions. At least for me and most of the reviews I have read this man needs to be avoided. Going to have to talk with my PCP about why she would recommend such an individual. If you can find someone else please do, it's your money and time. Use both with someone who will try and improve you, not themselves.

Dr. Alam cares more about movies than his patients. Does not listen, but makes judgments and presumptions about you instead. His lack of caring is evident in his mannerisms and body language when you are in his office. He is only a prescription writer, and doesn't even do that well. He will change your diagnoses to make the insurance companies happy, without regard to how it affects you at all. I know because he did that to me. 20 years with PTSD, anxiety, depression as diagnosed by other professionals. He changed it to BiPolar disorder so he could continue to write my prescriptions based in insurance company requirements. Do not see this doctor.

Do you want an expert on all this Walking Dead and Dexter? He's your man! However, when it comes to his ACTUAL job, please don't waste your time and money. His staff is great, they're all super sweet girls--I feel bad that they have to work for such a male chauvinist pig. Ladies, look forward to blatantly crass comments on your body!

Very professional and actually helps with problems

Dr. Alam is very personable and friendly. His office staff are courteous and efficient. I am glad to have found his practice and will continue to see him as long as needed.

I've been seeing Dr. Alam for a while now. I am in my 40's and have always had anger issues. Upon seeing a counselor and having her recommend that I see a Psychiatrist I went to see Dr. Alam. I was diagnosed as being bipolar and given medication to treat it. I have had no major anger issues or deep depression issues since being diagnosed and receiving the proper medications to treat my illness. I think Dr. Alam and his office staff are awesome and my family and I are all closer now.

Dr Alam and his staff are very courteous and professional. I never have to wait long before being seen by Dr Alam. He is a very good listener and seems to really want to help me with whatever issue I may be having. I would recommend Dr Alam without hesitation.
