Dr. Muhammad Faizan Ali, MD

Muhammad Faizan Ali, MD is a board-certified Internist at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He joined MCW in 2023 as an Oncology Hospitalist, providing care to hospitalized patients with active cancer at Froedtert Hospital. In 2025, Dr. Ali expanded his role to include outpatient care as a Primary Care Provider in the Specialty Clinics Building.Dr. Ali has a strong interest in preventive health and cancer survivorship, and he is passionate about medical education, leadership and quality improvement initiatives. His approach to care emphasizes compassion, evidence-based practice, and continuity across inpatient and outpatient settings.Outside of work, Dr. Ali enjoys cooking, staying physically active and learning new languages. I believe in listening closely to my patients, clearly explaining their conditions, and partnering with them through shared decision-making.
