If you want a doctor to order every possible test under the sun then this is your guy. Insurance ended up declining most of the tests that seemed totally unnecessary. When I went to a follow up because I thought my meds needed adjusting, he just talked down to me with silly analogies to my profession about why I needed these tests. He then proceeded to fear monger that I was in high functioning heart failure and every case he’s seen like mine has developed AFIB. I’ve gotten multiple other opinions with completely opposite outlooks that once I had the surgery would have a normal outlook. I’m now four months post op with no AFIB and every indication my outlook is a normal lifestyle and expectancy. 2nd star because he did have next week availability which is rare for a cardiologist and it was nice to consult with him so quickly the first time after my initial surprising test result. Although maybe now I know why he had so much availability.
