Went with my wife to her first visit and waited 2 hours before she ever went back to a room. She has a broken back in two places from on old military injury and just needs some relief. This is not the way to treat patients on their first appointment. There was two vehicles in the parking lot and no one inside in the waiting room. Don’t make an appointment for someone if you aren’t going to accommodate that person. We will go somewhere else and I know we will be treated better.

He is ok but less than understanding about my particular situation in that yes i had surgery for Arnold Chiari Malformation type 1 but it is not a cure, there is no cure and symptoms are still there, pain and muscle weakness. Headaches somewhat better but not pain. There is only so much any pain medication can do; yes it helps and I know this because I am not curled up in a fetal position crying because of the pain but is the pain gone? NO! Do I still hurt? YES! As is the case with most all of us who deal with one form or another of Chronic Pain. I guess unless you have been there you don't really get it. The fact that my pain levels are down to a 6 or 7 speaks volumes. At least I can function everyday, i can get up and walk around, i can walk my dog, i can go to the grocery store but that was then and this is now and i don't know what i can do since my medication was cut in half. He just didn't understand that surgery was not a cure.
