Dr. Muhammad Amer Awan, MD

Dr Awan really cares about his patients, he has proactive care for illness as well as general well-being. I have been a patient for over eight years. I finally feel my physician is not only knowledgeable but also listens. The office are all friendly and caring.

Dr. Awan seems like a good doctor, but the practice in general is unsafe and an infection control nightmare. As a Registered Nurse I am appalled at the entire experience. I came here with my husband to establish primary care for him. We were first seen by what I’m assuming was a medical assistant student who didn’t introduce herself as a student, nor did she tell us her name. Zero hand hygiene upon entering the room, before touching the patient, after touching the patient, or before leaving the room. Zero hand hygiene before she attempted to draw my husband’s blood. He has great veins in his arms, but she jumped straight for the most visible vein in his hand which is the most painful place to have blood drawn. Needless to say, she missed and then kept talking about how his veins were rude, etc. Students should not EVER preform invasive procedures without supervision or a certified or licensed professional. Next, a staff member came in with another student to draw the blood, again,… without performing hand hygiene or introductions. The staff member was able to obtain the blood with zero issue in the AC. The next individual we were seen by was a Nurse Practitioner Student who was the only halfway adequate person we dealt with there. He was disorganized and nervous which is understandable, but he maintained professionalism and good bedside manner. Out of all the health care workers he was the only one who washed their hands. My husband and I are truly horrified at this experience and will not return to this practice. I was shocked because I had read such good reviews on Dr. Awan, but unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros.

With constant technology advances, healthcare is losing its human touch. Dr. Awan is an angel that puts the care back into healthcare. He is present and attentive during each patient visit and always have a positive demeanor! Dr. Awan and staff, thank you for always making patient visits a meaningful success.

Honest straight forward Doc and actually gets on the phone to talk to you. Love him my husband likes him too.

Dr Awan actually takes calls and takes time to listen.hes smart and has great bed side manners. My husband and I love this doctor.

ONE OF THE MOST INTUITIVE DOCTORS ON EARTH YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR 13 YEARS AGO HE SAVED MY MOM LIFE , WHEN A HOSPITAL DOCTOR TOLD ME MY MOM WASN'T GOING TO LIVE DR AWAN HAPPENED TO MAKE ROUNDS BY ACCIDENT CAME INTO CHECK MY MOM , HE DETERMINED HER ADRENAL GLANDS WERE THE PROBLEM HE ORDER THE NURSES TO DO SOMETHING , THEY HAD NOT EVEN HEARD OF THE NEXT DAY MY MOM WAS ALERT AND FEELING WELL AND 2 DAYS LATER WAS BACK HOME AFTER THE HOSPITAL HAD TOLD ME THE WORST . HE HAS BEEN MY DOCTOR EVER SINCE . GUIDING ME ON PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE TO GET MY COLONOSCOPY AND WHY (THEY FOUND POLYPS) GOT MY CHOLESTEROL UNDER CONTROL WITH MY INPUT REGARDING REDUCING SUGAR IN MY DIET I AM 62

Dr. Awan is very understanding and professional. His staff is caring and they take well care of their patients. My parents have been going to him for 10+ years.
