Dr. Muhammad Moin Farooqi, MD

Dr. Farooqi is the best doctor I've ever met. Highly recommend if you want a doctor who genuinely cares about you.

Dr. Farooqi is a true professional and an excellent doctor. He takes time to listen to his patients and recommends medication accordingly. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family. He is a very compassionate, competent, and concerned about his patients health, overall condition, longevity, and what's best them.

I am 64. My personal experience as patient of DR. M. Farooqi for more than 10 years makes me write this for the benefit of my brothers and sisters in town. Dr. Farooqi is not only a good doctor he is a gentleman. He takes care of patient as he loves his profession. Only experienced doctor can foresee the potential problems. He has sound knowledge on health issues at current time. His guidance about precautions and dietary concerns are very helpful with the prescriptions he writes. I wish him all the successes.

Called into the office to set up and appointment. The phone kept on ringing and then it put me on hold for another 4 minutes. When the call was finally attended, my basic questions about appointment setup for my parents were rudely met with hostility...as if the person taking the call didn't want to be there and if that wasn't enough, she made me feel that I am interrupting her day or something. I should have hung up but I thot everyone is allowed to have a bad day, I and I proceeded to ask a couple of questions and the person on the other end pretended to not be able to hear the my question and she kept on going...huh...huh and then finally hung up. All this time my was there right next to me for who I was trying to book an appointment. My prelimnary experience with this PCP (Primary Care Physician) was rough....and quite demeaning. If this is how their staff treats their new patients (when they are really down and vulnerable), sometimes I wonder should they be… even allowed to administer medicine. Heres the irony, my dad is a retired physician himself and I could see, how embarassed he got when he learnt the state of affairs at his peers office, how they can be cold, calculating and impersonal. Never going to this doctor again...I will try another one. There no dearth of good people practicing medicine. Shame on You Dr. Muhammad Farooqi. Your office is a disgrace to the medical profession.

He's been my doctor for about 17 years now and has been great.

Doctor Farooqi is very dismissive with his patients. He is clearly uninterested in listening to detailed symptoms and always jumps to the assumption that a patient is suffering from the most common cause of a given symptom. He is also unwilling to prescribe medication for attention deficit disorder.
