My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer that had metastasized to his liver. During our first appointment with this doctor, he talked to us like we were children and basically the treatment "plan" was just to pump him full of chemo until he died. He gave my husband a 30% of living two years. The truth is that hospital does not have the expertise to perform the treatments my husband will need on his liver which could very well lead to a cure, hardly death. I'm happy to say we knew to look elsewhere and we are getting top notch treatment at City of Hope. The ethical thing this "doctor" could've done is admit they were not equipped to treat my husband's advanced stage cancer and suggest we go elsewhere but there was never a mention of that - just death. This practice is a total joke - they couldn't even submit prescriptions as needed. This doctor also prescribed an appetite stimulant for my diabetic husband without telling us it could cause severe blood sugar spikes. He is… now recovering from this. More than happy to take my husband elsewhere where they know it's 2026 and he's getting top notch care and has a chance - he'd be dead in short order if we would've kept him here. It is very disturbing there are doctors like this.

Dr Hamdan is awesome. he treated me as if I was his own daughter, he was always honest, trustworthy and I truly trusted him with my life, not even a whole year of treatments later, I beat brain cancer...thanks to Dr Hamdan

Dr. Hamdan/office causes unacceptable stress for their patients with their inability to communicate effectively. As a hospital-run practice, this is unfortunately common. I am so very disappointed at their also not following NCCN guidelines, which are standard of care in our country. Would most definitely NOT recommend this office to any oncology patient in the future.

Dr. Hamdan is an excellent clinician with a great bedside manner. the medical treatment prescribed is what he would do for himself if he had the same diagnosis. He has great knowledge & experience. His entire staff are very caring. I would HIGHLY recommend him!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hamdan since 2002. He is a caring, professional, highly motivated to help kind of doctor. When he left Michigan to move to Texas, I was very disappointed and wondered about the quality of care I would get with another physician. As soon as I heard he moved back to Michigan, I changed back to him.
