Dr. Muhammad Riaz, MD

Dr. Riaz is the third doctor who has treated me for sleep apnea and chronic snoring since my diagnosis about 30 years ago in Southern California. We recently moved to the Yakima area from SoCal and were concerned about finding medical support as Yakima is far from major medical communities like Seattle and Tacoma. Our fears were unfounded, and we have been able to receive quality care in several specialties and a great GP. Dr. Riaz is not only a great doctor, he is very personable and connected with me on my very first visit. He upgraded my CPAP machine, adjusted it and improved the quality of my sleep, as well as my wife's. The new machine is so quiet that she hardly hears it. He also counseled me concerning how a couple of medications that I am on adversely affect the quality of my sleep. The same medications that I have been on for at least 10 years. My previous doctor did not pick up on them, even though I had complained of symptoms that they may have caused. Since then I have had three Sleep Specialists and five CPAPs and each has been an improvement, both doctor and machine. My wife and I recently moved from SoCal to the Yakima area and one of our greatest concerns was finding medical providers that we were comfortable with. As the area is removed from major metro centers there were concern the we might have to travel to Seattle or Tacoma for care. This has not been the case. Dr. Riaz has proven to be an excellent doctor who has upgraded my sleep related treatment in only a couple of visits. He is compassionate and caring, willing to take extra time with his patients to ensure the he is answering all of their questions and that he has a real handle on their needs. Dr. Riaz is very personal @friendly. He has helped with my sleep apnea. He is concerned about my health. He explainned how high blood pressure and diabetes are effected by sleep apnea. I highly recommend Dr Riaz.

I was very happy with Dr. Raiz. I had my sleep study done and then found out he was going to be on vacation. But because I was going to have surgery he came into the office to read the study and then sent the info to my surgeon and got me started on treatment so my surgery wouldn't be delayed
