Dr. Muhammad Jawad Sethi, MD

Dr.Sethi is an outstanding doctor. He has helped stabilize my condition and helped lower my A1C. He is easy to talk to and very responsive. I became his patient serval year ago when my Endocrinologist passed away. I am very fortunate to be under his care.

Horrible doctor. It was really a waste of time going to him. He’s very rude and helps in no way.

Don’t waste your time or money.

I was thinking of seeking another endocrinologist before this event, but this clinched it. I made online appointments for myself and my daughter with Dr. Sethi, to discuss the fact that my TSH had tripled in one year and my daughter's had doubled. I have been taking thyroid meds for 17 years and know what range my numbers should be in, for me to feel my best. Apparently I have never questioned this doctor before, because the moment I attempted to politely express my concerns and ask questions, he began angrily interrupting me and waving his arms. I am a person who prefers not to have to say impolite things to someone, but finally, I told him I would like to be able to complete a sentence without interruption. He responded angrily again, but let me complete one sentence. He waved his arms, said HE was the one with the education and experience and we should just trust him. Suddenly, I find myself soothing his male ego, as women are wont to do, in order to calm the beast. What is this… - 1950? He never answered my questions, talked in circles, and waves his arms some more. He also engaged in some gaslighting (as men like this are wont to do), which I don't appreciate, saying that the range for TSH (0.5 - 3.0) is not large, and he wouldn't increase my medication unless I measured at 4.0 or 5.0! I once tested at 2.0 and was dragging a**. Fortunately at that time, in another state, I had a (female) doctor who listened to my clinical symptoms and improved my health by increasing my dosage. As a scientist myself, I know that 1/10th of a point can make a difference across multiple disciplines. Double or triple a number? Hm. Mine and my daughter's appointments, which were supposed to be 10 minutes each, back to back, for actual conversation and partnership, ended after 4 minutes total. I paid for 4 minutes of abuse. This was the most bizarre and abusive experience I've had in quite a while.

Was a horrible experience. He was dismissive, uninterested, and I was left in exam room 40 minutes after being seen. Finally realized no one even cared what happened or where I was so I left.

I had been on prednisone for years and my adrenal glands quit functioning. In 3 months I am on new meds and have energy that last all day. He is very kind, caring, intelligent and explains everything to you concisely. I highly recommend Dr Ethi

I have been seeing Dr Sethi for a few years. He always take his time to listen to any of my questions/concerns. He is very thorough with his answers which was important to me since I have had diabetes since I was a child. I have seen doctors in the past who have not been able to successfully manage my diabetes so it’s nice to finally find one. I will continue to follow up with him.

Brought my diabetes under perfect control within 3 months.

I think Dr. Sethi is very knowledgeable about his field of medicine. I feel he cares about how you are doing. I do wish he would slow down a little and take a little more time with his patients.
