Dr. Muhammad Khan Shaukat, MD

Dr. Shaukat is very knowledgeable in Pulmonary. He is super sweet and understanding. He asked me questions to truly get to the bottom of what was going on with me and I won't see any doctor again. He has been my doctor for over 5 years

Customer service is horrible. This doctor's office does not care about you or your time. The very first time I set up an appointment they told me it would take two weeks to get an appointment with the doctor. Then they called me The day of the appointment and canceled and told me that the doctor would not be available. Then I waited another two weeks for my next appointment in which I drove to the office which took about 45 minutes. Than I handled my insurance card which they had already asked me what insurance I had when I initially booked the appointment and then sat down. I sat in the waiting office with my wife who had to drive me because I have epilepsy she's also doing all the driving and working with and managing the household of five children. After waiting for one hour we were called up to the front desk just to be told that they no longer take our insurance as of yesterday. We asked them since it was their mistake and reminded them of how they already canceled our initial… appointment and we also reminded them how we told him about what our insurance provider was several times before booking the appointment and that we had given the lady at the front desk our insurance card when we arrived and if they could please make an exception since it was their mistake. They told us they would make no exceptions and we're not sympathetic at all. I can only imagine if the doctor treats his patients this poorly that it would be a true waste of time for anyone to see this doctor. He was a referral from our primary care doctor we will be contacting them and letting them know as well how dissatisfied we were with their service and integrity.

First of all they have not had a phone since April. How does a doctor operate without one. There are secretaries ! They give out perceptions but the pharmacy can't call back to confirm them. This has me questioning what is going on with the doctor. You should not have to drive to the doctors to make an appointment of have to go back to the office to have the doctor verify the script for the pharmacy... with the money doctors make, a company phone should not be out of the question!
