I went to Dr..Zia a few years ago. I mostly spoke to both the doctor and Max the therapist. When I spoke to Max the therapist there about my fathers massive wealth, he said I need to stop and called me bipolor. I became uncomfortable very quickly. He soon diagnosed me with multiple disorders. Over the course of four years it was about 7 total or even more. When I first went to his office I was an avid athletic athlete, but soon after I gained a massive 160 pounds bumping my weight up to 300 pounds. The doctor prescribed me several medication. It took a massive tool on my family. Nothing seemed to help. I lost precision in my life. I had to help my mother and my father. I feel bad for all of his past patients. Dignity health is so unprofessional. This doctor even offered my brother a resident psychiatrist an opportunity to buy his practice. By the way he was previously a lawyer (NORTHWESTERN LAW AND NYU LAW GRAD). When I went to the doctors at Kaiser. they said I was fine and… definitely did not require medication. If you have seen this doctor I definitely recommend that you double check in order to assits your loved ones. Since I went to Kaiser I am now a Healthy 157 pounds thanks to the lovely angles at Kaiser. I wish you all luck. I know its hard. they gave cigarettes in the mental institution. It almost ruined my family. I don't know what to do help others. Max asked me to help future people, but I was handed cigarettes at the dignity health mental hospital. I told everyone i'm scared but nobody seemed to care. They seemed to care about the doctor offering his practice to my brother. Thank You angels at Kaiser once again. Also he would give me a bunch of medication for free. Free samples during this time. know my parents were very emotional at this time. Dr. Zia's medical practice should be investigated by DEA. Further, his medical license should be revoked by the Medical Board of California. He essentially prescribes medication without adequately evaluating the patient. If you see him for anxiety and depression... he will not properly screen you for a disorder. Rather, he will place you on a recurring schedule designed to file insurance claims over treating patients. I highly recommend you avoid at all costs. If you're a patient, report him.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. You would think someone with his experience would be compassionate. Instead his bedside manner is cold and he gives the impression he just wants to get you in and out.

Dr Zia did not have a courteous greeting (i.e. introduce himself, or shake hands). He also took a phone call when in session. I felt worse after seeing him.

Years of seeing him, courteous, understanding, and referrals as needed.
