Dr. Mujahid Mahmood, MD

Great doctor, very thorough and considerate.

I traveled an hour each way for Dr. Mahmood to give me 5 minutes of his time. Did not listen to me or provide advice as to what I can do about my insomnia. I left, then decided - hey, I came all this way, I'm going to need more than that. I went back upstairs and he refused to see me despite the waiting room being empty. I said I'll wait. He finally came out - though he stayed behind glass. I begged for suggestions, which he refused to give. I got angry. Instead of acknowledging that anger is a legitimate feeling that can be caused by doctors not listening or caring, he told me that I have an anger management problem and need to see a psychiatrist. The man literally chose to gaslight me as a medical professional. Appalling.

He also has dsps and is very knowledgeable with sleep disorders. He has a very good reputation among kp doctors when it comes to sleep disorders

I looked up the word "charlatan" in the dictionary and there was a picture of Dr. Mahmood. The man does not listen to his patients, does not care about the well being of his patients, and is very close-minded about any possible solutions. He does not even wish to de-crypt the acronyms in his meeting notes in follow-up. If you are only doing CPAP titration issues, then the assistants below him do a better job. If you have sleep issues beyond CPAP (like deep sleep and Slow Wave Sleep issues) like I have, then Mahmood is the wrong man for the job. He also does not admit that his skills are limited to CPAP titration issues only.
