Dr. Mukarram Ali Khan, DO

This Dr.has been nothing but a money grab for 7 mo. I will not go back .8wks of 3 times a week rehabilitation. Two shots in the back that i still have not recovered from.Had to see psychiatrist that was 6 pages of the same question ,that charged my insurance $900 and he asked me no questions.I would not recommend him to anybody.And they wont fill out FMLA paperwork?

Best experience with pain doctor. Dr. Khan is excellent. Super nice.

I think the office and the staff are great! I brought my Grandmother (she is a wonderful 93) here and they always listened. They do have office rules and procedures but those are easy to follow if you are there for the right reasons. I've always been able to get through on the phone to ask any questions. Excellent!

I have seen dr. khan for a year and a half now and I would have to say my experience is very positive. I have seen pain doctors in the past and they were terrible. Dr. Khan was very nice and listened to what I had to say. I'm definately doing better now with my pain since having being treated there. That's my 2 cents.

I felt like they view everyone as a drug addict ... and Dr. Khan had little or no interest in listening to me. I felt like he wanted to leave the exam room as soon as he got in ... even after I had waited over 45 minutes beyond my appointment time. You are drug tested (through urine) prior to seeing him and in a bathroom that has no running water to wash your hands afterwards!!!! I was shocked and repulsed. They did provide hand sanitizer outside of the bathroom but had no bathrooms inside the office that you could use to really wash your hands properly. You could leave their office and go to public bathroom in the building. I understand there are probably drug addicts that go to pain clinics simply to access drugs but some of us are actually in REAL pain and have come as a last resort to managing that pain. He offered me NO suggestions for how to modify my activities to alleviate pain ... in fact, he acted annoyed that I even asked.

Place is dirty most of the time. The office staff are complete morons and are very mean . I am 78 years old and have trouble remembering my appointments. When i call in they tell me sorry we cant give you your appointment times it is your job to remember them. I would not recommend this place. Dr needs to keep his staff in order.

This is a great Dr. BUT His staff is the meanest and most hostile, threatening and abusive on the planet. They kicked an 69 year old cancer paitent out of her appointment because she could not do a Urine sample , made her wait a month to get her Morphine.

No one will answer phone and girl on machine is Very Rude

He not once smiled during any of my visits. When I asked about the cost of the drug testing, I was told by Dr. Kahn that it was done local in his office. I was concerned because I have a high deductable with my insurance. I later received a bill from his office and his cost of the drug test was $600.00. Later I received a bill from some place called Millenium in California where the total cost was $834.00. When I approached his office staff about the inconsistency, thier attitude was, "Sorry, that's the way we do it here. We test it here and send it out to check our tests". I walked out and was approached by another discontented patient who had also walked out. I feel he was not honest with me and I will never go back. During my visits with him, which was usually about 5 minutes and cost $160.00, his comment to me was "What can I do for you today?" Isn't he the one who is treating me? After 4 failed epidural injections, my only pain relief was a perscription for percocet… every month. His office staff always seemed busy doing nothing on every visit. They were short, rude and when answering the phone, put you on hold without even asking if it was okay.
