Dr. Mukesh C Saraiya, MD

My wife and I became acquainted with Dr. Saraiya in 2017. My wife saw him on a Christian talk show. She had had a continuous cough of which no one could diagnose and decided to contact him to schedule an appointment. That telephone call changed both of our lives. Dr. Saraiya has been involved in saving both of our lives. Dr. Saraiya diagnosed my wife with a mold infection (saving her life) and has guided me through two surgeries that divulged non-aggressive, slow growth cancers in different parts of my body. He worked with my wife directly. He used his extensive medical associate network for coordinating my health care. In a recent conversation with Dr. Saraiya, I told him he was an answer to prayer. Dr. Saraiya is a great Doctor. He has been treating my COPD for years. He has saved my life!!!

Dr. Saraiya takes as much time with you as you need, listens to you and is willing to try numerous approaches until he finds what treatment you need that is specific to your condition. Love that he is willing to think outside the box. He is constantly researching to find other ways to help his patients.

He is the best Dr my husband has EVER been to and he has been many seeking help for severe asthma. He CARES!

I have been a patient of Dr. Saraiya since 2014. I have nothing but good things to say about him. I have found him to be very caring and thorough. He thinks out-of-the-box to ascertain the underlying problem of any aliment. In addition, he is not a pill pusher prescriping something that might help with the underlying element but could cause other problems through interactions with other drugs you might be taking. This is especially important if one is taking a number of prescriptions. Yes the front office staff could be better, but as a patient you should advocate for yourself more aggresively. That is what I have done. So, in summary, if you want a caring, good doctor, then Dr. Saraiya is the one for you.

I waited for over an hour to get my sleep study results, only to find out that the man who called me to make the appointment never put it into the computer. The receptionist was rude, wanting me to get my blood pressure taken by this medical assistant who guessed your blood pressure because she didn't know how to take one. I never got my sleep study results because I refused to buy $600 worth of vitamins a month. Nor did I agree to get the CPAP from him. I was overcharged for my visits as per my insurance EOBs, no refund was ever issued. Am filing a complaint with the Texas Medical Board.

Dr. Saraiya is a good doctor. His office staff seem untrained and have an attitude that they don't care. If you call to leave a message, no one calls back. This has happened more than once. It's difficult to get any information out of them and they won't let you talk to the Dr. on the phone. They also mess up orders for equipment. The staff is the reason I gave such a low rating because they are truly frustrating to deal with.

I have been seeing Dr Saraiya for years now. He was my mother's pulmonologist first, but now most of my family sees him for asthma and lung problems. He believes in combining today's medicine with holistic medicine. He is an excellent and very compassionate Dr.

I have been a patient of Dr. Saraiya's since he came to Denton. We have had many years together and he has helped me through many difficult health experiences. Although we do not always see eye to eye, we are able to discuss differences of opinion &, most often, come to consensus. For me he has been an excellent diagnostician and includes me as a part of the team in dealing with my health. He seeks new information through continuing medical education & determines its usefulness in practice based on current research & publication. He is aggressive in addressing my needs but uses common sense in prescribing treatment that may or may not be compatible with my lifestyle. Although he is a very busy practitioner, he is always kind & polite to me & my family and spends adequate time with me in his office setting & in the hospital. He continues to see new patients despite his heavy patient load; therefore, it is not easy to see him on short notice, but he will make exceptions for urgent… needs.

The appointment was close in and not months away. The staff was very courteous and spoke highly of the doctor. The doctor didn't try and steer me into a bunch of unnecessary test, rather went straight to my problem and then scheduled me almost immediately to have it resolved. He is a busy individual but he did see me after the procedure. My experience with the Doctor and his Office has been very good. And the results since my procedure has been outstanding.
