Dr. Mukta Gupta, MD

I have never had a bad experience with her, she always seems to fit me in when needed. Great personality and comfortable atmosphere m.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gupta for about 10years and have found her to be an out standing professional caring physician. She is readily available to handle all my health emergencies and takes time to explain and address any of my concerns. Dr. Gupta's knowledge of medication and diagnostics is beyond comprehension. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone seeking medical needs. ( and have done so ).I respect her values and dedication. Massena is very blessed to have her in our community.

I have been a patient since she started and she has always been there when I needed her.Is very concerned about her patients and takes the time to explain things to you. I had very bad aniexty issues and with her help that is under control. There were other health issues that she caught early and resolved like colon cancer. I recommend her highly and hope she continues her practice for many years to come.

Treats me great

Was not impressed at all, they got us in quick but the nurse that seen us first made several inappropriate comments about my children's family history (including that my father probably only has a few years left) even asked my 8 year old if she had ADHD, made a racist comment about people from China , asked my 11 and 8 year old if they were smokers and then gave them attitude when they were like um I'm 11 or I'm 8. and Dr. Gupta did as well (the husband). The whole purpose of the visit was shots for one child and a physical for the other and at the end of it Dr. Gupta told me I had to come back for another visit for the physical he could not do it today which made no sense but goes along with the other reviews that this office makes you come back as much as possible. Will definitely NOT be bringing any of my children back and would not recommend anyone to bring their children.

Very unprofessional, talk way too much, praises her self only, did not listen to patient carefully & jumps up to the conclusion. She wants her patient to come back quickly, & prescribe too many pills so you ended up paying more on top of the copay. Do not want to recommend her at all.

Our entire family has been to both her and her husband. He is great with the kids, she is nothing short of a pill pusher. She wants you to keep going back so to get you coming back frequently, she pushes all sorts of meds on her patients and only refills some of them each time you go and refills some others as you keep going back for follow ups. She yelled at me for not going enough and quitting the cholesterol meds. I tried to make an appt. but she was away on vacation so I had to go to the ER and was tired of the repeat office visits for cholesterol meds so I quit taking them. We have a mail away program but she refuses to give more than a 3 month supply when they recommend a 1 yr. script for the mail away program. It was costing me a lot of money with the lost time from work, the office co-pays, and the med refills at the local pharmacy. I wish we had a different Dr. under our insurance.

When Dr. M Gupta and her husband, Dr. S Gupta, set up their own practice I received exemplary care from her. She was friendly and never made me feel that I was taking up too much time with any questions I might have had. I never waited more than 15 minutes in the waiting room. The staff was very friendly, yet very professional. I always felt she really cared about me. Since then a couple doctors left Massena and Dr. M Gupta took on many many many new patients (there are not enough family type doctors in Massena.) Since then the care is substandard. She checked my chest and back one time with her stethoscope as she was walking out the door. She always seems rushed. I use to recommend her and now I am embarrassed that I did. Those I recommended her to have told me they don't know why I thought she was such a great doctor. It's really too bad because she use to be so good. :(
