Dr. Mumtaz George, MD

I made an appointment several weeks in advance to see Dr. George. My appointment was at 5:30. Someone came in at 6 and said her appointment was at 6. Her appointment was at 5 and she made a big fuss so they took her which is fine. When I finally got back to the examing room, the older nurse took basic information. I complained with a lump in my throat and reminded them I had strep throat 3 weeks earlier. The doctor came in and spent less than 5 minutes with me, asked for a cbc, listened to my heart and told me they were backed up today and make an appointment to come back and he gave me pamplets. He never even looked at my throat. What a waste of time!! I left his office at 7:20.

I began seeing Dr George a year ago. He is not only a great doctor, he really cares, listens & trys to help you have overall better health. He, himself is plant based/vegan & can help you through any troubles you have if you are vegan. Which most doctors aren't so helpful with this matter. His bedside manner is top notch! I urge anyone who is looking for a new doctor or interested in becoming healthier to make an appointment with him! You will not be disappointed, weather you're interested in plant based diets or not. Great doctor across the board!

It was not too long of a wait to get in to see the nurse and get things going only because i made an appt. Dr. Mumtaz George is a decent doctor only thing i didnt like he didnt spend much time with me or get to know me just basically wrote me my scripts and sent me out in the waiting room for my scripts This was kinda weird but it all went through. But they put you through almost every test possible you know to just bank more money as it is the suboxone alone is bringin them in thousands but w.e i got the help i needed and this is the MOST important issue and it was handled very proper. Staff is a little slow like the receptionist. But once again just something you have to deal with to be on suboxone maintance. Thank you Dr. George for your help and understanding. But also realize your gunna be in there for quite sometime, my appt. was at 11A.M. I didnt leave until about 1:45....

If you have an appointment with Dr George, he takes his time with you & ACTUALLY LISTENS TO EVERYTHING!! I write all my issues & refills I need down & he goes over EVERY LINE with me. He is very kind but, most of all; a GREAT DOCTOR!!! He really cares about his patients. While he is the Dr/expert he believes that the patient knows their body best. The staff is 50/50 though; both front & back office. Some are very nice, some are very knowledgeable & helpful; that's a bout 50% of them. The other 50% are either knowledgeable & rude or extremely sweet but, make mistakes.

Dr. George is a fantastic physician. Too bad his work ethic, attention to detail, kindness and concern for his patients doesn't trickle down to his front office staff. The front office staff are not efficient, they are rude and not attentive to the patients that come into the office. I have sat waiting for my appointment and experienced first hand how horribly rude and condescending the front office is to the majority of the patients that come in. If Dr. George knew how the front office staff was treating the majority of his patients I'm sure he would make a change.

Pro: Flexible hours, open late on weekdays and open on weekendsCon: Service is poor. They seem more concerned about billing and your insurance

I thought that this urgent care facility was one of the best ones I have been too. Sure does beat Concentra.People need to understand that this is an "urgent care-walk in clinic".Patients should expect to wait a little while. Staff was very friendly and the MA's were great!!!!They really show compassion for sick people. Physician was nice and courteous. I will come back when needed. :)

I am concerned that Dr. George may not be a Doctor at all? It is very hard to find background information on him and his staff refuses to reveal his educational background.
