I have only seen Dr. Poi twice over a one-year period for follow-up, but she is truly what the above reviews say...genuine, honest, sincere, and so caring! She spent so much time with my complicated symptoms and medical history - documenting a lot - trying to make sense out of what is going on! I was ready to literally just give up on the medical field after a different appointment today...that is, until I went back to Dr. Poi. She is so thorough, and a rare exception in the medical field - she seems to actually try to get to the bottom of what is going on. She will tell you if she is not sure. Thank you, Dr. Poi, for taking my terrible day (from the earlier appt. at another office!) and putting a smile back on my face! Love this lady (and office staff were all wonderful, too)! I wish she worked in other fields, like primary care, so she could be my primary care physician. I recommend her more than any other doctor in this area currently!

Dr. Poi is treating my wife for an arterial bi-pass in her leg. Dr. Poi was very open about the possible hazards of the surgery. So far my wife has experienced most of them. Dr. Poi always seems to have a plan A, plan B, plan C etc. Overall a wonderful physician and surgeon.

Dr. Poi is an exceptional person and physician. She is very clear about her diagnosis and the treatment necessary. She is honest and straight forward when talking with her patient and is willing to spend what ever time is necessary to help the patient understand and make good decisions. She is very personable and has great bedside manner.
